Daily Inspiration: Meet Harsya Fikmazi

Today we’d like to introduce you to Harsya Fikmazi

Harsya, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
So I do enjoy journalism, especially automotive. However, over time, I started something new by covering motorsport in Indonesia, such as touring cars, sprint rallies, rallies and offroad.

With enough experience, I got the chance to fly to Japan for the first time in 2018 and cover the grand final of the Yaris Cup along with the Gazoo Racing Festival at the Fuji Speedway Circuit.

It didn’t stop there, in 2023, I also got the chance from Toyota Gazoo Racing Indonesia to join them in covering their participation in the GT World Challenge Asia event throughout the season, starting from Thailand, Okayama Japan and Malaysia

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course, in pursuing a career, it never runs smoothly. There are always obstacles that block the way, and must be conquered.

Because I am aware of the challenges, I instill a sense of confidence in myself that all obstacles can be conquered and passed in the best way.

The obstacle I encountered was the negative stigma from people, and usually there is a group of people who don’t like us when we are at a certain point with some achievements.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Talking about my specialty, I write about several things, especially the automotive and motorsport industry in Indonesia.

They know me through the writings I write in the media ROCKOMOTIF.COM and FASTNLOW.NET.

The thing that makes me proud is being able to know many people from both the automotive and motorsport industries. I know many great people, with all their stories and struggles that they have achieved

For things that set me apart from others, maybe I have the advantage of interacting with others, a no-nonsense approach technique, and I like humor

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I have always loved the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas, both as a whole (the United States), and regionally.

I have always dreamed of visiting the city, especially since I knew a little about the automotive and motorsports industry there.

I can’t really say what I don’t like about the city at this point.
