Daily Inspiration: Meet GiGi B.

Today we’d like to introduce you to GiGi B..

Hi GiGi, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is GiGi, and my path into healing work began long before I had the language to name it. I was a sensitive, empathic child navigating a world that often felt too loud and too full. Raised in an environment where emotional intelligence was still developing, I often experienced a deep energetic frustration and a lingering sense of being “different,” especially in group settings or unfamiliar environments. I now see this as the early awakening of my intuitive gifts—gifts I didn’t yet understand but could deeply feel.

By the time I reached my early twenties, anxiety and depression had become familiar companions. While painful, those dark nights of the soul became portals into deeper self-awareness. The unraveling led me to my yoga mat, which became the first sanctuary on my healing journey. My first 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2017 was nothing short of transformational. Teaching followed naturally, and by 2018, I was leading classes full-time and had launched my first business offering private yoga. It was then that the doors to deeper healing truly began to open.

My curiosity and soul-led hunger for more holistic knowledge brought me to Reiki, astrology, breath-work, chakra healing, and beyond. I met incredible teachers and practitioners, each guiding me closer to the remembrance of who I truly am. And let’s not forget—I was deep in the midst of my Saturn Return, a time astrologically marked by growth, challenge, and rebirth. Naturally, everything felt both chaotic and sacred.

In 2019, I traveled to Rishikesh, India to complete my 500-hour advanced yoga teacher training. Since then, I’ve accumulated nearly 1,000 hours of training, received my Master level in Reiki, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with double minors in Philosophy and Psychology. All of this forms the foundation of my current work—INNER-NET—a business and calling that integrates the physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual aspects of healing.

Today, my offerings include private Reiki trainings and attunements, monthly New Moon Reiki circles and gatherings on South Redondo Beach, one-on-one sessions focused on intuitive spiritual guidance, as well as a variety of mentorship programs. I blend the ancient teachings of yoga and Reiki with astrology, psychology, meditation, somatic awareness, and my own lived experiences to support others—especially Women—in awakening the healer within. I hold space not to “fix” or “heal” others, but to mirror the truth I’ve discovered in myself: that our deepest wisdom already lives inside us.

Beyond my holistic healing and spiritual practice, I am also a published author and poet. My two poetry collections, “The Scorpio Rising” and “The Marilyn Rising: Letters to Marilyn,” are both available on Amazon and serve as intimate explorations of transformation, identity, and feminine power. I’m the host of the podcast INNER-GPS: Your Astrological and Spiritual Navigation System, with Season 4 launching in July 2025 on Spotify. As a rising actress based in Los Angeles, I studied at the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) in San Francisco from 2016–2017, and continue to explore storytelling through performance. I also work as a Creative Director and Event Coordinator, most recently producing “The Rising”—a live event that invites local artists to share their truth and voice. I believe that creative self-expression is not only medicine, but one of the most powerful paths to both personal and collective healing.

While I deeply enjoy connecting with people and working with them in-person, the pandemic shifted my work into a more virtual format, which—blessedly—has allowed me to remain present in my newest and most sacred role yet: mother to my radiant, almost four year old daughter, Graziella. She has been my greatest teacher in surrender, softness, and overall life balance.

This journey hasn’t been linear—it’s been more like a wave. And although I’ve never surfed, I’ve come to understand that staying balanced on life’s wave is the art. Sometimes the ride is smooth; sometimes we get knocked down. But healing is not about avoiding the fall—it’s about rising again, stronger and softer than before. Whether through grief, anxiety, heartbreak, or rebirth, my tools remain the same: breath, presence, trust, and the deep inner knowing that no matter the wave, I can rise again.

This is the work I share. This is the authentic truth I live.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Has it been a smooth road? No, not at all. My journey has been layered with some of the deepest struggles—battles with self-sabotage and abandonment, navigating the complexities and edges of domestic violence, and the fierce, transformative fight to gain full custody of my daughter. These experiences challenged me to my core, forcing me to confront not only external circumstances but also the internal wounds that often whispered I wasn’t enough or that I was destined to be alone.

In those darkest moments, I found my saving grace through creative self-expression. Writing poetry became a sacred container for my emotions, a way to transform pain into beauty and truth. Movement—whether through yoga, dance, or simply allowing my body to feel—helped me reconnect to my power and presence when words felt impossible. These authentic forms of expression became more than outlets; they became lifelines. They helped me remember who I am beneath the struggle.

Building community, both in-person and virtually, has also been a critical part of my healing. Knowing I was not alone, that others were walking their own winding paths, created a sense of belonging and support that fueled my resilience. Through sharing space, stories, and sacred rituals with others, I learned how to lean in rather than shut down; how to trust again.

One of my favorite analogies is that of the arrow: it can only shoot as far as it’s been pulled back. This image has given me great comfort during the periods of contraction in my life—the times when everything feels heavy, limited, and uncertain. Those difficult stretches are the very ones that build the tension and strength necessary for the arrow to soar, leading to moments of pure bliss and expansion. Embracing this truth has allowed me to hold space for both the pain and the promise of growth, knowing that each struggle is carving out the trajectory for greater freedom and joy ahead.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My work lives at the intersection of energy healing, intuitive guidance, and creative expression. As a Reiki Master Teacher, Psychic Intuitive, Astrologer, and Spiritual Guide, I support others in returning to the healer within. Through 1:1 sessions, mentorship programs, trainings, workshops, and community circles, I specialize in chakra alignment, intuitive development, Reiki attunements, and soulful embodiment. I’m most known for my grounded mysticism—combining ancient wisdom with modern tools to help people access authentic deep transformation, self-trust, and alignment.

I’m also a published Poet and Writer, the host of the INNER-GPS podcast on Spotify, a rising Actress, as well as a Creative Director and Event Coordinator passionate about cultivating spaces that empower authentic expression. Most recently, I produced “The Rising”—a live event that spotlights local artists and encourages storytelling as a pathway to personal and collective healing. I believe creative self-expression is not just art—it’s medicine. I successfully launched my first rendition of this modern day Renaissance artistry experience in San Francisco on May 1, 2025 and held the second in Laguna Beach on May 23, 2025. The third act will follow shortly here in LA, with many more to come.

What sets me apart is the way I integrate all aspects of my journey—from single motherhood and trauma recovery to years of formal training in yoga, astrology, and energy work. I don’t just teach healing; I live it. My work is a mirror of my lived experiences, and I’m most proud of the communities I’ve built, both online and in-person, that honor the full, authentic human experience with compassion, depth, and spiritual courage.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
This is such a powerful and pivotal time to be alive—especially for those of us rooted in the holistic healing and spiritual spaces. Over the next 5 to 10 years, I see a massive shift in collective awareness. We’re in the thick of it now: an unraveling of the old and a rising of what’s true. The performative, surface-level spirituality we’ve seen in recent years is beginning to dissolve, making space for deeper, more embodied and authentic practices to emerge.

I believe the next decade will be defined by a reclamation of ancient wisdom, intuitive intelligence, and modern energetic sovereignty. No longer will mystics, healers, and spiritual guides need to shrink, hide, or struggle to sustain themselves financially. Emotional, energetic, and spiritual health will continue to rise in value—seen not as separate from physical or mental wellness, but as central pillars of whole-being healing. This evolution will not just impact individuals, but institutions, communities, and even global systems.

Those who are doing the inner work—who are walking their talk and offering from a place of lived experience—will become the way-showers in this new era. I’m deeply honored to be part of this wave and even more excited to witness how creativity, community, and authentic connection will lead the charge toward a more healed and heart-centered world.
