Daily Inspiration: Meet Casie Conway

Today we’d like to introduce you to Casie Conway.

Hi Casie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story is proof that you can be blessed by something you’d never consider a blessing.

I grew up in Newport Beach, Ca and after my single dad’s sudden passing, my entire life cracked open. At the time, I was a partying, broke hairstylist with no real direction—just going through the motions and numbing everything I didn’t want to feel. His death forced me to pause and ask, Is this really who I want to be? That moment became the turning point.

I started journaling daily and leaned into self-care and mindfulness practices from fitness to yoga and meditation; that helped me rebuild from the inside out. I became an athlete. I doubled my income as a hairstylist while working fewer hours—firing clients who drained my energy and finally choosing alignment over burnout. I started traveling the world solo, something I never thought I’d do, and it became one of the most healing parts of my journey. Through that, I began documenting my experiences and building a community on Instagram—sharing everything from solo travel tips to mindset shifts to wellness rituals.

That journey led me to create I’m Only Becoming Richer & Prettier—a guided journal and movement that helps women regulate their nervous systems, reconnect with themselves, and manifest the life they dream about. A portion of every sale goes toward Indigenous rewilding and female entrepreneurship, because giving back is part of my mission now.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: healing doesn’t make you soft—it makes you powerful. You’re allowed to reinvent yourself as many times as you need to, and it all starts with one decision to change.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There were seasons of deep grief, burnout, and identity loss. Losing my dad cracked me open in ways I wasn’t prepared for, and I had to learn how to stop living as a victim of my circumstances and start empowering myself through the pain. Sobriety and getting healthy gave me the clarity to come back to my “why” over and over again—to choose healing, purpose, and alignment, even when it was hard.

I’ve had to say f no to things that didn’t serve me—even when it was intimidating, uncomfortable, or unknown. I fired clients. I walked away from old habits and relationships. I chose to trust that I’m building something better, even when it didn’t make sense yet. The road hasn’t been easy, but it’s been transformational. Every “no” I’ve said has chipped away at the version of me that was settling, and revealed more of the woman I’m becoming. I wouldn’t trade the struggle, because it taught me to trust myself.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I wear a few hats, but everything I do is rooted in helping women come back to themselves—whether that’s through beauty, mindset, or lifestyle.

I’m a celebrity hairstylist and founder of I’m Only Becoming Richer & Prettier—a guided journal and brand focused on self-care, emotional wellness, and manifestation. I also create digital content around journaling, solo travel, sobriety, and building a rich, aligned life from the inside out. What I’m most proud of is the way I’ve built my life and career from a place of intention—one rooted in healing, not hustle.

What sets me apart is that I don’t just talk about transformation—I live it. I’m not afraid to share the messy parts: the grief, the burnout, the anxiety, the breakthroughs. I’ve built my platform and community by being real, raw, and a little delulu in the best way. Whether someone’s sitting in my salon chair or opening one of my journals, my goal is the same: to remind them that they’re allowed to change everything and they are capable of it. I’m here to lead women back to their power, and I’m doing it one intention, one entry, one bold step at a time.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I’m pretty transparent about my journey and truly believe vulnerability is a strength, not a weakness. I’m not afraid to share the messy parts: the grief, the burnout, the anxiety, and the breakthroughs. I’ve built a platform and community by being real, raw, and a little delulu in the best way.
