Today we’d like to introduce you to Vee Adamyan

Hi Vee, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I guess my story starts at a very young age, I’ve always enjoyed fashion, beauty and entertaining others. There were so many dreams I had for myself growing up but I kind of fell into this world of “influencing” — in a way it’s been an avenue for me to share all of my interests in one field. That’s the power of social media, you can be instantly viewed by the masses with a click of a button.

I came to California when I was seven years old and like so many, I’m an immigrant but when you come to a here at such a young age as the years go by, this foreign country becomes more familiar then the one you were born from.

I’m Armenian and to me that means resilience and that’s been my story all along, sometimes I’d fight against it but at my core I’ve always know this is my legacy. The resilience to keep going no matter the circumstance, that’s what my ancestors did so who I am to fight against that strength?

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I could never say that the trajectory of my life has been smooth but I can say that I’ve always made it look easier than it has been.

I grew up with my mom who was a single parent, she was all I’ve ever known. My North Star if you will, and when she got sick and eventually passed, I avoided dealing with that for sometime. The denial of my grief lasted for a few years before I actually faced it.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
When I mentioned I had so many dreams of what my life could have been, I mentioned my love of fashion, beauty, art, and entertaining others. But writing, that’s the one I keep for myself, that’s my first love and my selfish dream. I always thought I had to put myself into a box, am I poet? Am I novelist? Am I blogger? But after self publishing my poetry book, The Burning Rose — I realized I could do anything I wanted to without labeling myself. I share beauty and fashion on Instagram/Tiktok, I write on substack and I share my life on YouTube. Ideally I would love to live the life of the creative, but we’ll see where this life takes me 🙂

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I think that if you want to shoot for the moon you have to be okay with landing on the stars instead — what I mean by that is life can be full of risk however I think there’s a misconception that once I take the risk, the leap of faith I’ll be exactly where I want to be but what we don’t see is the million leaps and falls before the one that finally lands.
