Conversations with Unique Amor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Unique Amor.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Unique Amor also known as Skyler Murray Hall is a Black woman straight out of West Los Angeles. I was born at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills. I went to a number of schools and lived in different cities surrounding Los Angeles. As a child, I loved to sing, rap and act. I loved staying in front of the camera no matter what I was doing. Fast forward to high school, I loved Talent shows and participated in all of them.

I was crowned most likely to be a rapper out of high school. In 2015, I started creating music and looking for the right sound for myself. I hit a couple of bumps in the road and started to give up. I got played and I didn’t like that feeling. That’s when I met my Wife Roshaunda Hall, for about a year she had no knowledge that I created music and was actually dope. When she found out my life started to change in 2020… I mean real studios, dope producers and engineers, my Instagram following shot up and then I was booked and busy. Currently, I am the Owner of The Pink Boxx which is an online boutique and the Co-Owner of Rosway Media Group LLC. which is a media and photography company. We are filming our first movie, “WESTTOWN THE MOVIE” and a Reality show. I have a few music projects that I’m working on as well with a couple of A list celebrities. Be on the lookout for Unique Amor.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Smooth road?? No, the road was bumpy as hell.
I struggled with loving myself, self-esteem and putting myself first.
I had to literally take off my wig and eyelashes and look myself in the mirror every day and say “I love you Skyler”. God is the Best heart healer, mind healer and peace giver. Make sure you are tapped in with GOD 🙏🏾.
That was the hardest thing for me to do.
I had to learn to accept my body, stop complaining and work out or shut up.
I had to learn to love my smile.
I had to learn to put myself first, My MENTAL HEALTH especially.
I was my own enemy and downfall.
When I realized that my life changed 100%

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I create music. I Direct movies. I’m a Producer. I’m a Business Owner.

I’m known for everything that I do. I would say I’m most proud of how I juggle being a Mother, Wife, Myself and an artist. I am literally four people. I switch gears very quickly.

What sets me apart from others is that I am related to Mega, Legendary, and Iconic POP STAR. I’m pretty much destined for greatness. I am Very Humble in the real way. I am hard working and want to help young girls with a vision and dream that feel hopeless. It’s bigger than me.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
