Today we’d like to introduce you to Timothy Hill
Hi Timothy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
What if the very thing you were running from was actually your calling? For years, I denied my creative voice, trying to fit into spaces that didn’t truly see me. But when life forced me to pivot, I had no choice but to embrace what was already within me—storytelling. Now, through my podcast, voice acting, poetry, and modeling, I’m not just sharing stories; I’m building a legacy. And with Season 2 of What’s The Tea with Tim on the horizon, the journey is only getting started.
I’ve always been a storyteller at heart, but it took a leap of faith to fully step into my purpose. After being laid off from my corporate position, I saw it as a divine push—an opportunity to unapologetically pursue my creative passions. No longer bound by the expectations of a workplace that didn’t align with my vision, I finally had the freedom to invest in myself and share my gifts with the world without fear or limitation.
Storytelling is the foundation of everything I do. Whether I’m crafting poetry, stepping in front of the camera as a model, voicing a character, or sitting down with a guest on What’s The Tea with Tim, my work is rooted in human connection. As an empath, I feel deeply, and storytelling allows me to express not only my own experiences but also the shared emotions of those around me. I believe that our stories—whether of struggle, resilience, joy, or transformation—have the power to bring people together.
Right now, I’m gearing up for Season 2 of What’s The Tea with Tim, which premieres on March 25th. This season is all about deep, authentic conversations—unfiltered and real. The podcast has always been a space for vulnerability, laughter, and reflection, and I’m excited to continue amplifying stories that resonate with people on a soul level. My goal is simple: to inspire, to connect, and to leave a legacy through my art.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has been anything but smooth, but I’ve come to realize that the challenges were necessary for my growth. Pursuing a creative path, especially after leaving the security of corporate work, has been both liberating and terrifying. There have been moments of doubt, financial strain, and the ever-present pressure to prove myself—not just to others, but to myself.
One of the biggest struggles was learning to trust my own voice. For so long, I prioritized stability over passion, convincing myself that my creativity was just a side hobby rather than my true calling. But when I found myself physically and emotionally drained from a job that no longer served me, I had to make a choice: stay comfortable in a life that didn’t fulfill me or take a leap of faith into the unknown. I chose the leap.
Another challenge has been navigating the uncertainty that comes with entrepreneurship and the creative industry. Unlike a traditional 9-to-5, there’s no set blueprint for success. Some months are filled with opportunities, while others feel like an uphill battle. I’ve had to learn resilience, how to pivot when things don’t go as planned, and most importantly, how to believe in my worth even when external validation isn’t immediate.
Despite the obstacles, I wouldn’t change a thing. Every struggle has reinforced my purpose and strengthened my faith. I know that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be, telling stories that matter, connecting with people in meaningful ways, and building something that will outlive me.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
At my core, I am a storyteller, but my work spans multiple creative avenues. I’m a podcast host, voice actor, model, writer, and creative strategist, all of which allow me to bring stories to life in unique ways. Whether through the deeply personal conversations on What’s The Tea with Tim, crafting compelling brand narratives, or consulting with influencers and businesses to help scale their marketing and brand presence, everything I do is rooted in authentic connection and impact.
Beyond my creative projects, I specialize in Creative & Content Strategy, helping brands and individuals shape their identity, refine their messaging, and build communities that resonate. Through my Creative Consulting Business, Hill Creative Co., I work with influencers and businesses to scale their marketing efforts, strengthen their brand presence, and grow their audience in a way that is both strategic and organic. I believe in storytelling as a powerful tool—not just for entertainment, but for influence, visibility, and lasting impact.
I’m most proud of the ways I’ve been able to help others see the value in their own stories. Whether it’s through my podcast, consulting work, or personal brand, my goal is always to amplify voices, create meaningful engagement, and inspire people to show up as their full, unapologetic selves.
What sets me apart is my ability to blend creative vision with strategy. I don’t just help people create content—I help them build a brand that aligns with their values, speaks to their audience, and creates long-term success. My background in corporate media has given me the business acumen to approach creativity from a strategic standpoint, while my own journey as an artist gives me the empathy to understand the emotional depth behind every story.
At the end of the day, my work is about impact—helping people, brands, and businesses turn their ideas into something tangible and unforgettable.
How do you think about luck?
I don’t know if I’d call it luck—I see it more as divine alignment. Every moment in my life, whether perceived as good or bad, has played a role in shaping my journey. Losing my corporate job could have easily been seen as “bad luck,” but in hindsight, it was the push I needed to fully step into my creative calling. That moment of uncertainty forced me to bet on myself, and looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing.
There have also been moments that felt like undeniable blessings—crossing paths with the right people at the right time, opportunities landing in my lap that I once only dreamed of, and doors opening in ways I never expected. But I don’t think those moments were random. They came from preparation meeting opportunity, from staying true to my vision, and from trusting that when one door closes, another—often bigger and better—will open.
I’ve learned that what may seem like “bad luck” in the moment is often just a redirection to something greater. Every challenge, every setback, and every closed door has taught me resilience, faith, and the power of trusting the process. Whether in my personal life or business, I’ve come to embrace the uncertainty, knowing that everything is happening for me, not to me.
So, whether you call it luck, fate, or divine timing, I believe that as long as I continue walking in my purpose, the right opportunities will always find me.
