Conversations with Scarlett

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Scarlett.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Since the start of the pandemic, I’ve been writing and recording vocals for amazing producers and DJs worldwide that I connected with online (when everything was virtual!) – and it’s been a testing, inspiring, and incredible journey ever since.

Scarlett red has always been my favorite color, and what began as just a whimsical idea for a name has now transformed into my very own passion project as an artist. It’s amazing how much Scarlett has evolved beyond my wildest dreams.

Throughout this adventure, I’ve stayed true to myself and have forged genuine connections with the talented artists and producers I collaborate with. Every day, I block out time on my calendar to create music and nurture the growth of the Scarlett brand, and I hope to grow further.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey has definitely been filled with its share of ups and downs, struggles, and challenges. I believe these are essential parts of any journey. We must face these challenges to learn and grow from them. I am certain that overcoming obstacles is just as valuable as experiencing success. Even though it may not always be as ‘fun,’ it is equally important.

Throughout my journey, there have been promises, significant career advancements, major releases, and more that have unfortunately fallen through, but that is often the reality of the music industry. Change is constant… A song may be perfect for one year, but the next year, it might not be suitable for release, leading to deals falling through.

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am an artist, singer, and songwriter recognized for my contributions to the EDM, dance, and house music genres. I take pleasure in blending my distinctive voice with dynamic beats to create catchy, engaging songs. One aspect of my career that fills me with pride is collaborating with a diverse range of producers and DJs from around the world.

Working together enables us to merge our creative visions, leading to mutual growth and learning experiences, both artistically and personally. These collaborations have been a valuable and enriching part of my life, and I eagerly look forward to more opportunities to connect with talents globally.

What matters most to you?
My family is everything to me! They’ve always had my back, encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone and dive into new opportunities (and I’m so glad they did because that’s how I found my true calling). I owe a lot to them!

I’m also thankful for all the mentors who have guided me along the way and the artists whose music shaped my journey – they’ve been a big inspiration for me as an artist myself.
