Today we’d like to introduce you to Roman Salcedo
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
In high school, I use to do amateur wrestling and had a passion for WWE. In December of 2022, I went to a WWE Smackdown Taping and witness the spectacle of professional wrestling. In January 2023, I decided to join KnokX Pro and begin training to become a pro wrestler. Within a few months, with hard work and dedication, I was able to unlock many opportunities, for instance, being an extra for a WWE Raw taping. Afterwards, I’ve been able to compete and showcase my skills in front of a live crowd with the many shows we had for the school.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road, since juggling work, family and training at the same time made things a bit difficult. There have been times where the training has been very vigorous that I would show up to work limping or very tired. Sometimes at home, I would be home late from training so I wouldn’t have any time with the family.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Well I’ve been working on making this a job of becoming a professional wrestler, which is where I get to entertain an audience with my skills and moves of wrestling. I’m known for being adaptable and determined when it comes to this line of work, which set me apart from others. And of course, I’m proud of my progression to learning and improving.
