Today we’d like to introduce you to Moti Gamburd.

Hi Moti, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
CARE Homecare was established in 2007 by Moti Gamburd. We provide non-medical home care services to people who live at home or long term care facilities. We provide case management, private duty care staff 24 hours per day or as needed. We manage all the aspects of life that include, transportation, medical appointments, light housekeeping, cooking, companionship, case management, and more. We provide all our staff training at one of our sister company’s facilities (Raya’s Paradise Residential Care Communities) where the staff get to interact with residents that need care to get hands on experience.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It is never a smooth road, there is always something espcially when it comes to legislation and new policies and regulations.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I have been in the elder care industry since 1995. I am proud of all the resources that I was able to acquire over the years and provide this information to my clients. I am very hands on and make sure that the quality of care and services are top notch. I personally train my leadership team and set the bar high to make sure that everyone in on board when it comes to providing the services that we promise.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Getting old is not easy and it is extremely important to surround yourself with the right people who are knowledgeable about the options that are available to them. I have met many clients that were with the wrong providers and when we came on board we were able to transform their quality of life. This is why I go and do assessment on all new prospects and while at their residence I also provide safety assessment to make sure it is safe for the resident and the care provider.
