Today we’d like to introduce you to Loki Rara

Hi Loki, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It all started when I was in high school and used to see all these popular online influencers living such lavish lives in LA. I come from a small town in Boston MA, where there is not much dreaming and possibilities. I would spend the whole night going out into the city recording videos with my friend at the local colleges around the city. We would be out so long that the next morning in school we couldn’t stay up in class to get our work done. Finally after toiling we managed to get our first big break with our viral song “Snapchat” which now has over 1 million + views. Once this happened we were invited to LA by some record producers and stayed there for the summer. When we got into the groove of things in LA we realized we did not like how the industry treats teenagers and agreed this is not a place to continue to grow up. I made a conscious choice to then move overseas to London and enroll in acting school so I could properly develop as a young man, rather than partying in LA. Once I got to London I loved it immediately and was able to have my own TV show on Amazon TV called “Loki Rara Asks London”. After finishing my acting program I decided I wanted to go back to LA and finish what I started. Since being back in LA I have managed to grow my brand exponentially and collaborate with exceptional basketball players, powerful business men, rappers, and beautiful women.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road here was not smooth at all. A lot of sleepless nights and going to bed hungry just so I was able to keep waking up and going after my dream. Through all the hard days and nights God always made sure we had what we needed when we needed it. A major challenge I faced was being homeless in LA for 3 nights and it allowed me to become a way better and stronger person. Sometimes the worst thing that happens to you can bring out the best in you.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I share my life story with people to show what is it like to be a young entrepreneur. I put my passion in singing, dancing and creating videos. I am known for creating interview videos with beautiful women and asking different perspectives about life . I take pride in my ability to share my optimism on life even though others call me names for it.What separates me apart from society is my ability to shine a light on negative situations and bring life to it, which allows others to feel a sense of happiness and freedom.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I truly enjoy that LA brings a festive in almost every part. LA keeps me on my toes and there is creativity oozing out from corners that you would think that is lifeless. This city gives you the opportunity to meet well admired people in any field you’re in. I dislike that most residents in La are not always authentic some will show up with a friendly mask to use you for their own personal advantages.
