Hi Lawrence, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Our first location started 12 years ago in Tarzana on Ventura Blvd. Our name pays homage to Hollywood hence the name Naillywood. We thought it was unique and memorable. The founder Lan Nguyen is well known throughout the valley. He has around 25 years experience in the industry. Many of his clients are in the the film and music industry and have followed him for many years. His work is impeccable and is the reason why he has such a large fan base. From the Tarzana location, he opened up his 2nd location 8 years ago in Porter Ranch, which is more than twice the size of the Tarzana location with 21 spa chairs. Without the success of Tarzana, he wouldn’t have been able to open the Porter Ranch location. With his talent and a dedicated staff the Porter Ranch location has become one of the best salons in the area, offering facials, permanent tattoo, and nail services. With the success of Porter Ranch, Lan opened Naillywood Sherman Oaks. The Sherman Oaks location offers a more boutique atmosphere while providing excellent service and quality workmanship.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The nail industry has never been a smooth road. There’s always a lot of competition and it’s difficult to find talented and dedicated staff. Luckily we built a reputation for excellent work and exceptional customer service.

We specialize in nails, nail art, facials, Eye lash extensions, and permanent makeup.
We are known for our attention the detail, work ethic, customer service, professionalism, and quality of work. Those are traits that sets us apart from others.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Always try to be the best in whatever you do. Always be open to learning, listening, and absorbing.
