Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Feramisco.
Hi Jordan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I began my career as a professional athlete, where I developed a deep appreciation for how the body moves, adapts, and performs. That passion led me into physical therapy, where I built a strong foundation in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimization. Today, I apply that expertise across prehab, rehab, and high-performance training, designing highly personalized, body-specific programs for elite athletes, entertainers, and some of the world’s top performers.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been an exciting and dynamic journey, with new and unique opportunities always on the horizon. However, like any entrepreneurial venture, starting, owning, and building a business requires significant dedication and hard work. One of my greatest challenges has been balancing extensive travel with clients—whether for music tours, vacations, or in-season training for NBA and NFL athletes—while continuing to provide consistent, high-quality care and programming for my local clientele. Also just driving from client to client in LA!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a body and movement specialist focused on restoring, optimizing, and developing the body according to its individual needs and goals. What sets me apart is my patient, adaptable, and creative approach to assessment and problem-solving, allowing me to build effective, strategic solutions for each client. I also integrate a wide range of proven techniques, technologies, and training philosophies, drawing from the work of many innovative and respected leaders in the field to deliver comprehensive, results-driven programs.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was highly active and deeply involved in sports, which fostered both my competitive drive and my love for working with people. My outgoing personality has allowed me to connect effectively with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and personalities. In high school, I was honored as San Diego Basketball Player of the Year, and I was fortunate to leverage athletics to further my education at the collegiate level. Following college, I had the opportunity to travel internationally while continuing my professional playing career—experiences that exposed me early on to diverse cultures and perspectives and helped shape my approach to both performance and human connection.
