Today we’d like to introduce you to Isabella Pringle
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
What a journey it’s been. At 21, at the height of Covid, I dropped everything and booked a one-way flight to Kauai, Hawaii. At the time, I was studying speech therapy at the University of California, San Diego, but when everything moved online, I decided to follow a lifelong dream of mine (since second grade, actually) of moving to Hawaii.
I had always romanticized island life, but my reality took an unexpected turn when, four months in, I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, Kaya—who is now three. In an instant, my life shifted. I dropped out of college and began my motherhood journey, far from family, with new friends, and alongside a man I had only recently met. It was daunting, but I embraced it with joy.
Without realizing it, I started documenting my journey in Hawaii—sharing the highs, the challenges, and the beauty of becoming a young mother and having a home birth. What started as simple storytelling evolved into something greater: a career in social media marketing. I grew an audience of 450,000 across Instagram and TikTok, creating a community that resonated with my story.
Two years into my island life, I felt a pull to return to California. Covid was ending, and I was craving something new. A fresh start. It felt cosmic, though I didn’t realize it at the time. Ten months after moving back, my daughter’s father and I split. Suddenly, I was navigating life as a single mother, without a traditional career path—just one social media management client and my personal brand. It wasn’t enough to sustain us, but I took a leap of faith.
It was hard. Really hard. Providing for Kaya while grieving the life I once had, navigating separation and co-parenting, and holding onto the hope that I could build something for us. But it was in those darkest moments that I truly found myself. I became strong. Resilient. Clear on my purpose.
Now, almost two years post-breakup, I’ve risen from the ashes. I’ve grown from one client to four, and I’m building my own digital marketing agency. I’ve turned my passion for storytelling, branding, and creativity into a business—one that not only supports my daughter and me but inspires others to follow their dreams.
This journey has been anything but linear, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Every challenge shaped me into the person I am today: a mother, a creative, an entrepreneur. And I’m just getting started.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been anything but a smooth road. My journey has been filled with challenges, but each one has shaped me into who I am today.
One of the biggest struggles was becoming a mother at 21, far from family, in a place where I had just begun to build my community. I had no roadmap, no safety net—just the deep desire to provide the best life for my daughter. There was so much uncertainty, from financial struggles to navigating an entirely new identity as a young mom.
When my daughter’s father and I split, another wave of challenges hit. I was suddenly a single mother with no “traditional” job, just a growing presence on social media and one social media client. I had to figure out how to support myself and my daughter while also processing a major life transition. It was lonely. It was overwhelming. And at times, I questioned if I could really make it.
Balancing motherhood, entrepreneurship, and personal healing was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. There were moments when I felt like I was drowning—late nights working after putting my daughter to sleep, moments of self-doubt, financial strain, and the emotional weight of co-parenting.
But every challenge taught me something. I learned how to bet on myself. I learned resilience in the face of uncertainty. I learned how to turn my creativity into a business. Today, I can look back and see that those struggles were the stepping stones to my growth. They pushed me to build the life I have now—a life where I am thriving, not just surviving.
The road hasn’t been smooth, but it has been meaningful. And I wouldn’t change a thing.

My work is a reflection of me—rooted in storytelling, connection, and the belief that creativity can shape not just brands but entire lives.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories is surfing. I grew up just a block from the beach in Laguna Beach, California, and learned to surf when I was five. The ocean shaped me—it was more than just a backdrop to my childhood; it was my playground, my teacher, and my solace. In many ways, it raised me.
Through surfing, I developed a deep love for the ocean and, by extension, the entire natural world. The rhythm of the waves, the salt in the air, and the ever-changing beauty of the sea instilled in me a sense of freedom and peace that has never left. Even now, I feel most at home and at peace when I’m immersed in nature. Whether it’s the ocean, the mountains, or a quiet trail, being surrounded by the elements brings me back to the purest, most joyful parts of my childhood.
