Today we’d like to introduce you to Gayane Yaffa. 

Hi Gayane, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?

Hello everyone! I am proud to announce that I have been in the real estate business for over 10 years now. When I first started out, things were a bit of a disaster. However, over the past 6 years, I have been performing as a top agent in Los Angeles. Being new to the country, I was not sure if becoming an agent was the right decision. But I am glad that I did it anyway. It has been a great experience and I have learned so much. I am looking forward to continued success in the future.
Originally I am Armenian, who grew up in Russia and Ukraine, but I have been living in the United States for 12 years now. Thus I am fluent in 4 languages- English, Russian, Ukrainian, Armenian, and even some Spanish 🙂 , and have a deep understanding of the culture and customs of each country. I have always been passionate about helping people find their dream homes, and I’m thrilled to be able to do that professionally now.
My hard work, dedication, and commitment to my clients are what set me apart from the rest. My experience and knowledge are second to none, and I am always willing to go the extra mile to get the best results for my clients. Most of the time people call me the “Social Media QUEEN”. As a result, I have built up a long list of satisfied clients over the years, who later became my close friends, and some of them became my relatives.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?

 The first 4 years were tough, like a disaster, but I persevered and am now one of the top agents in Los Angeles. I passed my real estate exam on the first try! I thought that everyone would love to work with me, but I quickly learned that it was not enough, you have to gain trust. Trust is everything in this business, so for 4 years I only did leases, but later on, all of those leases turned into buyers. And they’ve continued to refer me to other clients. I’m so happy that I was able to build that kind of relationship with people. Now they trust me and I’m able to help them with one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Co-Director of Global Luxury in Coldwell Banker Exclusive and I am a top-level agent experienced in Luxury Real Estate, specializing in single-family residences in LA and San Fernando Valley. I am acknowledged for my consistent online presence, marketing expertise, negotiation skills, world-class client service, and knowledge of multiple languages.
Knowing Russian, Ukrainian, Armenian, and English helps me to create exclusive and trusted relationships with my clients, understand different cultures and close deals easily. All helped me become successful in selling real estate both locally and internationally. My friendly personality, strong negotiation skills, and 10 years of successful transactions have landed me in top real estate markets like Encino, Sherman Oaks, and Beverly Hills. My representation of Sellers and Buyers spans a wide range of clientele, including celebrities, athletes, and bloggers. Most of them are very popular and they are my friends now.
I love to mentor and share success techniques, stories, and experiences with others. I mentored 15 agents and I am still building a team of professionals, who can be me or even better than me. That makes me a “proud mama” or a “proud mentor” like the next Tony Robbins.:-) who I admire.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk-taking?
Every deal is a risk or a puzzle, but that’s what I love about it. In my life.. every transaction is a challenge, but I love finding solutions to problems and always having a backup plan. I don’t plan for plan A, only but also B, C, and sometimes D.
Maybe that’s why people love to come to me because I am definitely a problem solver. I’m often asked how I help people so much and not go crazy… and the answer is simple: I had a Ph.D. in Psychology. This gives me the ability to see things from different perspectives and find solutions that others may not be able to see. I’m sure that’s why people come to me and choose me as their one and only Realtor!
