Conversations with Emanuel Griffin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Emanuel Griffin

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Heart2SoulLegacy was born out of a deep reflection on the question, “What type of legacy do you want to leave behind?” Witnessing the hate and pain that spread during the pandemic, we felt a strong conviction that, as believers, our legacy should be one of love. This realization led us to explore how we can create that legacy in our everyday lives, which ultimately pointed us towards the mission of making disciples—true leadership. We believe that to lead effectively, one must first build confidence in oneself. From this series of questions and insights, Heart2SoulLegacy was formed, committed to empowering others to leave behind a legacy of love and leadership.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Anything worth having in life requires a fight. Change is hard, not just because of the effort it demands, but because people often resist it. Many are comfortable in their routines and fear the unknown, making it challenging to introduce new ideas or ways of thinking. I’ve faced these struggles firsthand, especially in understanding the different temperaments between the West Coast and what I’m accustomed to on the East. The differences in pace, communication styles, and general attitudes have been an adjustment, but they’ve also taught me the importance of patience and perseverance in pursuing meaningful change.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We are currently developing an animated series titled Tribus Animus, which aims to bring the teachings of Heart2SoulLegacy to life in an engaging and accessible format. This series is designed to reach and educate the younger generation, focusing on essential themes such as leadership, team building, identity, and discovering one’s purpose through adversity. By translating these values into an animated context, we hope to inspire and equip young people with the tools they need to navigate their own journeys.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is empowering individuals to become the change they wish to see in the world. I believe it’s crucial to demonstrate that people have the ability to shape the lives they desire, and the only true limitation is their own mindset. With faith and the guidance of God, all things are possible.
