Today we’d like to introduce you to Dashawn Simon
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I grew up in Baltimore attending prestigious school all because my parents wanted the best for me. I graduated Salutatorian from high school before attending Howard university. Although I had technology and cyber experience, I had no clue what I wanted to do with my career at that point beginning as a finance major. I later changed to a supply chain management major because it was simply more fun. I spoke to the head of the department and she was committed to helping me navigate the major and by the time I graduated I loved it. Sidebar: I walked on to the football team, and grinned from being the last paler on the depth chart to being a scholarship player. I also earned a national service award called the AFCA Service Award recognizing my outstanding serve in my community. I graduated Cum Laude from Howard and accepted a full-time offer with JP Morgan Chase to join their analyst rotational program. This came as a result to my inter ship career pivot. I went from cyber internships to a banking one with JP Morgan. I did their rising senior program as a rising junior, was offered to return as a rising senior then receiving full-time offer. Since then I have completed the rotational program, and was promoted to Associate on the North East Government banking team supporting a team covering DC up through Maine.
Sidebar to this story; I have been doing content creation this entire time. I started content creation in about 2021 and it has changed in so many ways. from doing silly tiktoks to sharing my personal life of drinking wine, rescuing a puppy, and travel. I have gone miro-viral a few times resulting in lots of traction to my accounts. I took 2024 off, I was less consistent, and I focused on myself alot. in 2025, I am posting daily. I’m posting any and everything, and not only on tiktok. I am also sharing this on instagram showing my true self. I am pushing myself to be more open and consistent this year even though I dont have 100% daily, im going to show up and give something. My biggest goal is to show my true self, and transition from gifted partnerships to paid partnerships and really move meaningfully. I have gotten PR from YSL, Maison Margiela, Azzaro, Skincare, food, and toilet paper companies.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been the smoothest road. In college, I was supposed to have a walk on roster spot and that was gone so I had to try out. I went through 3 coaching staffs which is super tough as well as some injuries. Academically I had a few courses that were challenging, I had to lock in and focus on passing and doing well. Professionally, being form Baltimore and relocating to LA for a job was super tough because I knew no one
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a fun person. I create lifestyle content. One day you could see my puppy, my skin care routine, the next day it could be my workout, my family, or a flight to Dallas for work, you could even see my cooking, or nighttime routine, or perhaps my unboxing of packages. I like to show the real stuff because so many people show the glorified parts, and I am gonna give you all the stuff fun, goofy, serious, sad, everything.
I am different form many because I dont hold back, I’m goofy and truly me

I read my bible or my bible study book, it keeps me grounded. I also read The Four Agreements often it allows me to grow and check myself.
