Conversations with Cjon Saulsberry

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cjon Saulsberry.

Hi Cjon, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was a bar owner in Columbus Ohio and wanted a change, so I moved to California in October of 2013. after 3 month in California, I met a woman that was a casting director. She put me in the movie the Gambler and I instantly became a sag Aftra actor. I started writing stories for my mother about angels and during covid , I had time to film a short version of one of the movies. My mother passed away before it was finished but my girlfriend Kaffe Peck my brother and sister all were very helpful in pushing me to send in my film where it was put on Tubi tv. I recently finished me full length movie titled DESPERATE with aired on Prime on July 4 2025 and on Tubi October 13 2025 with is my birthday. Im am presently writing my next movie..

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The only struggle was I didn’t have anyone here with me to support me until I met my girlfriend Kaffee.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I write, Direct, Edit and produce all of my films myself. im also a actor. I most proud that my family and friends will google me and say (your really famous) that makes me feel good to know that they look me up and can find all of my accomplishments.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I was blessed to meet the people that gave me a chance to get into film.
