Conversations with Christopher Watkins-Hall

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Watkins-Hall.

Hi Christopher, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Born November 19th in the small city of Corpus Christi Texas, I always had a gift for music, intentionally equipping myself with an ear of brilliance, I’m genuinely able to depict a nonfictional story through a surprising melody. Not only with relevant conscious lyrics but with a genius creativity of producing as well! My sounds represent uniqueness, and the style on the other hand is observed and imitated.

Since the age of five, the magical use of sound has influenced my belonging for making music. From performing in front of my family as if I’m a 5 time Grammy winner to winning a macorinna contest in Courpus Christi, Texas. I feel as if I were sent here instead of born! Music is a gift given to me I use to capture my life.

The idea to move to California wasn’t planned at all. Things just happen. For some reason, I always thought I had to leave where I came from to get noticed. But an environment shock is all you need to gain the courage you never had.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Tough, real scary. Nothing in life is ever easy. But what doesn’t kill you will definitely make you stronger. The rewarding risk in moving from Houston Texas to Los Angeles California has humbled me with wisdom and Patients will never regret. The teachings of a different place you’ve never been can scare you, but not being overwhelmed by challenges in life can prepare you for any risk your willing to take in the future. It’s who I am and why I reside in Southern California!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
What sets me apart from the world is my story and the uniqueness of my music reflects within the sound. I’ve been blessed to make music over 17 years and finally, I’ve released my first single, “so many lost”. My craft is sound connoisseur, and I’m very musically inclined.

Moving to California was life-changing, especially in a place where you thought you had help. Staggering while chasing a dream in a state that is life-threatening! I don’t look like what I’ve been through, and the words I speak seek a sense of wisdom. I’ve defeated the lack of confidence and separated myself from others by taking a risk.

I’m known for my music. I’ll be on billboard soon.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Planning is key. I wish I had a roadmap listed and dotted telling an accurate way how to make it big. But it’s honestly confidence and faith. I preach planning because things never go the way you expect. It’s always better to have an idea of what to do in situations you’ve never been in. Also, understand life is a lesson, not just to live, but learn.
