Today we’d like to introduce you to Ceren Jenna Curun
Hi Ceren Jenna, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
From Dressing Dolls to Styling Dreams
My story began when I was just a little girl. I would play with fabrics, dressing my toys and even fruits n creative outfits. I didn’t know it then, but styling was already a part of me. By the time I was a teenager, I was styling my friends and family, doing their hair, makeup, and helping them pick dresses. I loved it so much that I became their go to person. It was like I was their free stylist, and honestly, I didn’t mind because it made me so happy.
As time went on, things got crazier. More and more people started asking for my help with styling. Then one morning, I stopped and asked myself: Why am I not doing this for a living? At that time, I had a job my family wanted me to do, and while I did my best, I never felt like I belonged. I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was meant for something else. So, I decided to follow my inner voice and pursue my dream.
I enrolled in fashion school and graduated as a personal stylist. From there, I started working with private clients, turning my passion into my career. When COVID hit, I had to adapt. I did a lot of online shopping and virtual styling for my clients, which taught me new ways to be creative in my work.
Then I made the boldest move of my life:i resigned the job that my family picked for me and I moved to the U.S. I started from zero. I knew no one, had no network, and I wondered why anyone would choose to work with me. But I didn’t let that stop me. I took on small fashion jobs, I did modeling, worked with designers, and learned about textiles. Slowly, I built my path.
Everything changed when I met Nadia Williamson. She’s not just my boss—she’s my mentor, my friend, and my guiding light. Nadia believed in me and gave me the chance to show what I could do. She helped me shine and opened so many doors for me. I’ll always be grateful for her trust and support.
Looking back, I realize my journey wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. From playing with fabrics as a kid to becoming a stylist, every step taught me something. I followed my dream, trusted my instincts, and created a life I’m proud of. This is only the beginning of my story, and I’m so excited for what’s next.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
it hasn’t been easy. Starting out in a new country where I knew no one was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. This is an incredibly competitive industry, and on top of that, I had to navigate it with a different accent, no family to back me up, and an abstract job where I constantly have to prove myself. Networking is everything in fashion, but in the beginning, I had none. I had to take on awful jobs just to survive, sometimes working from 9 AM to 9 PM. I had to keep up appearances, looking good enough to model while working grueling hours. Being sick was terrifying because there was no one to take care of me, no safety net, no one to lean on.
Even now, it’s still not that easy but better I love where I work and who I work with and what I do. But through all the struggles, I believe in myself, my talent, and my dreams. I’ve come so far, and I know I’ll make it. This journey isn’t just my job it’s my life’s purpose, and I’m ready for whatever comes next.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a creative Fashion Stylist with a deep passion for Personal Styling and Bridal Styling.
Before moving to the U.S., I worked with business professionals in Europe, providing VIP styling services. I graduated from fashion school as a personal stylist, I helped A lot of people to reach out to their goals by teaching them how to impress people by dressing well and in an appropriate way and I’ve developed unique styling techniques that not only just picking beautiful outfits but also changing their lives with their looks.
I use a mathematical approach considering my clients’ personality, body type, under skin tone, and so much more to find the perfect style that truly represents who they are. My goal has always been to create a look that not only makes them feel beautiful but also confident and comfortable so that they can reach their goals easily.
In Bridal Styling as I use the same techniques ;I focus on my brides needs ,their dreams ,their own style ,their vibes they want to go for and I use my technical background and I make this process very easy for them…I can say that I am well known for finding the one at the first glance and taking care of my brides as their my sisters , being so honest .There is a big bond with me and my brides I think trust is very important in this job.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Over the next 5–10 years, I see the bridal industry continuing to evolve while staying deeply rooted in its emotional and timeless essence. One thing I’m certain of is that this industry will never end because weddings are such a fundamental and meaningful part of people’s lives. They’re not just event they’re moments that celebrate love, commitment, and individuality, and I believe that’s something eternal.
While the trends in bridal fashion may shif whether it’s about silhouettes, fabrics, or colors always try to teach my brides the importance of being timeless rather than trendy. Trends come and go, but timeless style allows them to look back at their wedding day with pride, no matter how many years have passed. It’s about embracing what feels authentic and beautiful to them, rather than following fleeting fashion fads.
