Hi Casmir, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Casmir and I’m a wedding, elopement, and lifestyle photographer based in Southern California. I’m a former 2023 bride and a dog mom to two adorable rescue pups. I specialize in capturing love stories along the coast. For me, it’s not just about taking pictures; it’s about getting to know my clients and embracing who they are, all while guiding them through their custom photography experience.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’d say some challenges were easier to overcome than others. With so many incredibly talented photographers, it’s easy to compare yourself or your work to others and start feeling like you’re not good enough. I struggled heavily with imposter syndrome, and it took a lot of personal work, growth, and reflection to get through it. I remind myself that this creative space is so special because every person’s perspective, style, creativity, and ability all differ.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I pride my business on having a client-focused approach, meaning I don’t just show up, take photos, and leave. I guide my couples and clients every step of the way with helpful guides, insight, and open communication to make sure they feel understood and prepared. I find it so fulfilling to help others loosen up, feel comfortable, and have fun, all while achieving the amazing photos they’ve always dreamed of. I want my couples and clients to feel like they’re hanging out with their bestie but with a camera. My purpose is to create a space where my clients can let go, feel loved, and be loved. A place where they can truly be themselves.
