Conversations with Avi Singh

Today we’d like to introduce you to Avi Singh.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am currently a young and ambitious 25-year-old realtor who is hard-working and very client-focused.

My journey began when I was attending Mt Sac Community College in Walnut, California. I was unsure about my college career and was not feeling fulfilled by my current course of study. One day, I came across a real estate class and decided to give it a shot with a friend. I ended up dropping my other courses and focused solely on my real estate classes.

It took me a semester to complete the classes, and I eventually became eligible to take the real estate exam, which I passed on my first try. My journey into real estate wasn’t easy; I struggled a lot during my first year, it took me six to eight months to complete my official first deal. Despite the setbacks and rejections I faced, I refused to give up and was determined to succeed.

Over time, my persistence paid off as I learned the ins and outs of the real estate industry and developed a keen understanding of how to take care of my clients. My client-centric approach has been the key to my success in the industry.

Fast forward to the present day, and I have sold over $50 million worth of real estate. I contribute my success to my clients and in the trust they have placed in me. It is very critical to always put my client’s best interest in mind. I look to continue to strive and grow my business and along the way, make new meaningful relationships of all the people I come across.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It was never smooth, I always had to put in hard work and go the extra mile for my clients and to achieve the results I wanted. Like previously mentioned, a lot of people did not trust me in the business as I was new and it was difficult to gain business. Although my mindset remained the same to give extra care to my client and educate them to the best of my knowledge so they don’t feel hesitation going into the process.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I became known in the community as a dedicated and hard-working realtor who truly cares about his clients. (especially in my church) I built a reputation on integrity, professionalism, and exceptional service. I’m passionate about what I do and will strive to do the best for my clients. In conclusion, my family also motivates me to become the person I want to become, I truly look up to them and give them back the life that they gave me.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Yes, when I was new and also something I still currently do is go on Eventbrite and search local real estate events near me or you can do this accordingly to whatever niche or industry you may be in. It is good to surround yourself with like-minded individuals who will support you and your endeavors
