Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamaal Johnson.
Jamaal, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started Acting two years ago but before that, I’ve been wanted to act since I was 17 years old, but I finally got the courage to pursue it so I started taking acting classes, started building connections until I found a way into the public eye. It was hard but the journey it took for me to get to where I am today, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. It pushed me to become who I am today.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road I remember one time I got scammed at an audition & tears started flowing down my eyes so I decided this is not for me, but the next day I said, you know what I’m destined for this because I want people to know success is not overnight.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an Actor who showcase his skills on tv & film, I’m best known for tv shows & I’m most proud of the work that I put in. What sets me apart from others my work ethic, nonstop I study daily.
How do you think about luck?
The good luck that I’ve had is that strangers come up to me asking for autographs, can they take a picture just off of watching me on there favorite shows.
