My Story, Viola, Founder of Risk to Rebirth

For years, I lived in extremes.

I was a high performer, an athlete, a creative, a leader, constantly pushing limits. But behind that drive was something deeper: unresolved trauma, emotional suppression, and a voice I had long silenced.

I learned early on how to survive. How to perform, adapt, and stay three steps ahead. But survival isn’t the same as freedom. And eventually, the pressure caught up. I hit emotional walls that couldn’t be fixed with discipline or willpower.

That’s when everything changed.

I stopped running from myself. I started listening, to my body, my intuition, and the parts of me I had buried. I reclaimed my voice. And what began as my own healing journey turned into a mission: to help others do the same.

Today, I’m the founder of Risk to Rebirth, a trauma-informed coaching platform designed for people who look high-functioning on the outside, but are carrying invisible weight inside. I work with executives, athletes, creatives, and youth from around the world to help them reconnect to their voice, their worth, and their emotional truth.

I believe healing doesn’t always look like therapy rooms or self-help clichés. Sometimes it looks like honesty. Movement. Risk. Connection. Rebirth.

And I’m here to walk that road with others, not from a pedestal, but from lived experience.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Has it been a smooth road?
Not even close.
The road here has been sharp, messy, and often incredibly lonely.

There were moments I was all-in for people who were never really in for me.
I gave loyalty where it wasn’t returned.
Built with people who were secretly rooting for my failure.
Trusted what felt like family, until they became strangers with knives behind their backs.

Betrayal doesn’t just hurt.
It breaks your inner compass.
It makes you question your instincts, your goodness, your worth.
And that was the deepest wound, not just what was done to me, but how I started abandoning myself to survive it.

There were seasons where I had nothing left.
No safety net.
No applause.
Just me, my breath, and the choice: stay broken, or rebuild.

And rebuilding didn’t look pretty.
It looked like grief. Like silence. Like rage. Like starting over, again and again.
But it also looked like finding my voice.
My boundaries.
My peace.

I learned that pain is a portal, not a prison.
That every downfall was clearing space for something real.
That losing what I thought I needed brought me back to who I truly am.

That’s why Risk to Rebirth exists.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Risk isn’t just a part of my life, it’s the very pulse that drives everything I do. I don’t just take risks; I live by the rules of trying, trusting, and learning. From skydiving thousands of feet above the ground to climbing mountains that test every ounce of my strength and focus, risk is woven into my DNA. I dance with fire, soared through the air on aerial silks, and traveled across the globe, living in countries where I barely speak the language, all of it fueled by a deep commitment to embrace the unknown.

My work has taken me into some of the toughest spaces imaginable, including fighting against human s*x trafficking. These experiences have taught me that risk isn’t only about adrenaline or bold moves, it’s about stepping into uncertainty with courage and purpose, even when the stakes are high.

Opening a business, especially one as personal as Risk 2 Rebirth, was a leap into the unknown itself. There were days of doubt, failure, and reinvention, times when trusting the process felt nearly impossible. But that’s where real growth happens. I’ve rebranded, restructured, and refined my vision countless times, always driven by the belief that risk is essential to transformation.

But if I had to name the greatest risk of all, it’s not skydiving or crossing borders. It’s forgiveness and faith. Forgiving myself and others, letting go of the pain and betrayal that could easily hold me back, is the most vulnerable and powerful risk I take every day. Trusting that the universe has a plan, even when I can’t see it, takes a kind of faith that challenges every part of me.

In my world, risk is not reckless; it’s a conscious choice to live fully, embrace failure as a teacher, and keep moving forward no matter what. It’s the foundation of my business, my healing, and my life.
