Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Cheung
Tiffany, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
When I started my business in 2020, I was a single mom who’d been living off food stamps and WIC, working multiple jobs and going to school. I lost my day job due to Covid and because I’d been a part time content creator and worked in marketing, I decided to start offering services as a social media coach! Shortly after, I transitioned into a business coach, serving primarily women of color, first gen / daughters of immigrants who desire to grow their coaching or service based business to create lasting impact as a movement leader. I specialize in teaching the energetics side of business, focusing on how our energy and beliefs influence our actions and strategy to create our desired outcomes. As I say to my community, “Everything I desire, desires me as well.”
Within a year, I was surpassing multi 6-figures, and this year, four years later, I’ve surpassed $1M in sales! My daughter and I just moved into a home, I’ve been able to retire my mom from corporate, and I’ve created a sustainable, joyful and easeful lifestyle for my daughter and I.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has NOT been a smooth road. There have been struggles and challenges along the way, just as any seasoned entrepreneur has experienced. Not only was I a new entrepreneur in 2020, I was also in college and raising my daughter. I had limited time and energy, which I believe forced me to focus in on the most important needle-moving actions in my business. I’ve navigated unsupportive family members and friends as I started my business, and as I’ve created more content speaking my authentic truth, I’ve received messages and comments from people online that don’t agree with the stance I take on business, on living a brave life, on authenticity or women’s liberation. I find that when anyone speaks their divine truth, there will always be naysayers who don’t agree, and this is a good thing. To repel people simply means that we are also magnetizing our most aligned community, and that is always a priority for me in my movement.
I’ve also navigated $0 launches, people not signing up to my programs, 0 attendees on masterclasses, especially when I first started out as a business owner. I always like to say that I am grateful I didn’t get what I wanted right off the bat, because the lessons I had to learn it shaped me into the person I had to become in order to receive my desires, when I was a better match for them.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am an Asian American, queer, ADHD, single mom CEO running a brand that specializes in business coaching and education for women entrepreneurs, primarily women of color, first generation / daughters of immigrants who are taking on their soul’s deepest calling. I work with spirit-led, intuitive, innovative women leaders who aren’t just building a business, they are leading a movement. I serve coaches, service professionals and creatives who desire to expand their impact and income through growing as the whole woman. I don’t believe in compartmentalizing as a CEO. I believe business growth is a byproduct of our inner growth, and conversations around relationships, intimacy, magnetism, and energy are just as important as building skills around marketing, sales, team, and offer creation.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite childhood memory is being on trips with my family. My middle name is Monterey, and it’s a seaside city 2 hours from my hometown and growing up, my family would take road trips out to Monterey once or twice a year to visit the beach, a huge play park, and my younger sister and I would have a blast. Nowadays, I take my own daughter to Monterey for weekend trips together and I get to create new memories with her, now as a mama.
