Today we’d like to introduce you to Roderick Casadores
Hi Roderick , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
It started with my old roommate back in the spring of 2017 when He knocked on my door, and told me that he had a vision. That he saw me owning my small moving business, and that I will do great because I would provide great service to my clients, and to the community. I told my roommate that he’s crazy. No one will hire me, no one will trust me moving their entire house. But my roommate was very persistent. I would always say no that’s not gonna happen. After almost 5 months of telling this he eventually made me a business card, and told me that he would help me start the moving business, and call it MR. Move OC why is it called MR. Move? Well, my roommates name is Michael, and my brothers name is Michael also, and my name is Roderick. So, M for Michael, R for Roderick combine the 2 letters you get MR. We do moving in Orange County that’s what OC. Stands for. So, MR. Move OC Eventually was created. I gave it a try because he made the business cards for free. Then I was at my local Trader Joe’s store getting some groceries, when one of the cashiers that I was having small talks with mentioned to me that she’s moving. I told her that I’m actually a mover. I gave her my business card, and I didn’t hear back from her. Then within 3 weeks after I gave my business card. I got a call from my first client that’s moving, and wanted an estimate for a moving, and packing job. That was my first job I got, that first client started referring me, and passing my business cards to her family, and friends. The rest was history…
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been smooth from 2017 to 2023 this year’s been slow. Because of the interest rates, and people are waiting, and holding on to the value of their home to increase more.
We’ve been impressed with MR. Move OC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Small business moving company. We specialize on in state, out of state moves. packing, organizing storage units, moving heavy household furnitures, pianos, grandfather clocks, etc. commercial office moves. etc.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Everybody moves, there’s always a I need for professional household movers. small or big. It will never go out of business.

- We do free in house estimates
- We have to see the entire household goods to give client’s the right estimate
