Community Highlights: Meet Quani Bates of Rayzo Vending

Today we’d like to introduce you to Quani Bates.

Hi Quani, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started Rayzo Vending LLC in 2019 as a way to earn passive income. I am a mother of two beautiful children. My daughter Zola Qualé and my son David Alexander. The goal is to teach my children entrepreneurship and financial literacy while creating generational wealth. Now, in less than three years, we have operated at max 22 locations with 24 machines while creating E-Books, an E-Course, and numerous other resources for our following.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Acquiring locations is the most difficult part of this industry. Location acquisition requires precise logistics and strength in sales and marketing. When we first began, this was our biggest challenge. Now, our obstacles reside more so in expansion. Knowing when to take on new accounts and when to decline. As well as operational decisions to improve sales and value.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Rayzo Vending LLC has a goal to teach Zola Qualé entrepreneurship and financial literacy. I am the Operations Manager and Zola is the CEO. We place candy machines, snack machines, combo machines, and drink machines in businesses throughout our community. A portion of the proceeds we collect from our vending machines are then donated to charity. Rayzo Vending LLC is influencing 112k+ followers on Instagram daily! We share information and tips for other mothers to begin vending with their children. We are most proud to be able to help women and mothers who look like us. We feel as though we are giving back to our demographic by being a source of trust and reliability in relation to the vending industry.
