Today we’d like to introduce you to Nima Kazerouni.
Hi Nima , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Campus Storage began in 2008 initially serving only USC students. We focused on delivering the best possible service with the limited resources we had. Each year as our client base grew, we streamlined operations so we could take on more. We continually aimed higher expanding our presence across Los Angeles and California. Today although we serve more than 30 schools nationwide, we have never lost the mom-and-pop touch that started it all. The heart of Campus Storage remains unchanged and our core values guide us every day.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Our industry faces many unforeseen challenges, and we meet them with persistence, innovation, and determination. Covid-19 was the greatest test we encountered, as campuses and operations shut down virtually overnight. When campus closures forced students to depart after spring break in March 2020, we pivoted to be first responders—assisting schools in urgent need of packing and storing students who could not return to campus. We helped many institutions navigate dire situations, often under intense pressure and tight timelines. It was an extremely stressful period, but we dedicated every waking hour to the task at hand. That challenge made us a stronger, more resilient company, and it reaffirmed our commitment to serving our partners with dependability and care.
We’ve been impressed with Campus Storage LLC , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Campus Storage has been around since 2008 and has serviced over 50 universities across the nation. Campus Storage has provided packouts, pickups, storage, shipping and delivery services for as many as 2,000 at a particular school. In the 15 years Campus Storage has been engaged in the college moving and storage industry, we have served over 50,000 students with a nearly perfect track record.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
There will be many ups and downs on the road to your targets and goals. Our advice: never lose sight of why you started your business or dream, no matter what that is. The common thread is showing up every day and giving 100%—one day at a time. Brick by brick, you can build a castle.
