Community Highlights: Meet Neith Ra of WellNeith Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Neith Ra.

Hi Neith, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My path to conscious wellness began with my nutritionist mother and metaphysician father, eleven years before my home birth, with their decision to chart a new path of wholistic living for themselves and their young family.

I spent half of my early childhood mimicking yoga postures and sitting in meditation with my father, and the other half, strapped to my mother’s hip, watching her cook from-scratch plant-based meals and create homemade soaps and salves.

This is my foundation.

After many unfulfilled years in corporate fashion, I took the leap (part-time) and started my wellness business in 2016. At that time, I would teach yoga in the evenings and provide one-on-one nutrition/wellness consulting on my lunch break and weekends. When my yoga students became pregnant, I obtained my prenatal yoga certification in 2017 so I could better support them…and that led to my doula certification in 2020.

Looking back over my life, mindset coaching, nutrition consulting, maternal support and teaching has always been a service I provided. I jokingly say that my first nutrition consult was the first day of kindergarten when I had to educate everyone at the lunch table about the contents of my homemade, plant-based lunch.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For me, the biggest obstacle was my mindset and belief in my gifts. Before starting my business, I had supported so many friends and co-workers on their wellness journey that I knew my services were needed, but I had to break through the apprehension of stepping out fully on my own after working in a corporate environment for so many years. I knew that I could help so many more women and families, but it would require me shifting my belief in regard to compensation.

Working a job makes you feel as if your employer pays you and if you quit that job, you won’t be able to survive financially, but in reality, your employer is just a channel that GOD uses to bless you. With that understanding, I knew that creating my business was really me creating a new channel to receive even more blessings.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about WellNeith Wellness?
As a nutrition/wellness coach and doula, I launched WellNeith LLC, a holistic coaching, education and supportive services firm dedicated to addressing mental and physical health among women in all life phases.

I’m here to help you clarify your wellness vision and uncover balance within your desired lifestyle with a transformative 1:1 coaching experience, supportive curriculum (aligned with your goals), and powerful whole-life results.

I understand the weight and frustration of feeling like there is more out there for you, but not knowing where to turn to first. That’s why my mission is simple: give my clients the wellness education, tools and resources that they need to feel happy, healthy, and capable of managing life’s pressures.

My understanding of the role mindset plays in overall wellness birthed The 4 M’s of Wellness™ framework, and has become the foundation of my coaching program.

I work with clients to support:

  • Transformation in thoughts and beliefs to reshape habits
  • Awareness in consumption to nourish the whole self
  • Calculated activity to perform at optimal levels
  • The creation of a firm financial base to support overall health and well-being

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I define success as freedom to BE, DO and HAVE every righteous desire of my heart.

Success is waking up knowing that I have chosen work that is in true service to others and it brings me so much fulfillment to witness the success of my clients and watch their families thrive.
