Today we’d like to introduce you to Levon Arzumanyan
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Born May 24, 1986 and raised in Los Angeles CA – I have been working since the age of 15 through various job industries and as a first generation American seeing my parents work every single day just to be able to get by I wanted to pave a different pathway for my generation to follow and real estate was just something I landed on…
Since 2005, I have been active in the real estate and mortgage industry. Prior to real estate I started my career in 2005 as a managing partner of the Mortgage Wholesalers Group. During this venture, I served thousands of clients seeking mortgage services and became a mortgage expert.
I have seen the ups/downs of the real estate market before and after 2008. Prior to becoming a realtor, I had already been buying, selling, investing/flipping and brokering loans, making him a true well-rounded real estate expert. Throughout the years of Levon’s professional career, he got tired of seeing so many realtors making fake promises, with no experience or knowledge trying to offer advice to families on one of the biggest decisions they have to make in their lives.
Outside of my professional career, I have been involved in sports atmosphere my whole life, giving me the unique ability to connect with diverse individuals. Even though real estate has been a tremendous part of my success in life, I do not see the biggest accomplishments to be the financial success, accolades or achievements. My biggest accomplishment is my family.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a difficult road my whole life… I feel like I have never had a peaceful or smooth road at all due to events that occurred in my life.. At a very young age, I spend the majority of my teens with just my mom and had to have two jobs to be able to help pay the bills with her while I was only 15-17 years old.. we moved alot from house to house and I grew up in areas where there was alot of bad influence from outside gangs/kids and had to do my best to keep my nose clean and keep out all the distractions life threw at me… then when I did become successful at an early age of 21-23 in mortgage, the 2008 crash occurred and I lost it all because i simply did not have the discipline for money management so i had to rebuild and start from scratch again… Then when things started to go well again I went through a divorce and it was the hardest thing to go through to be able to focus on work and be positive while I would only see my 2 kids ( 6 and 8) 3 times a week… I suffered from major anxiety but ultimately turned to just focusing on myself by taking care of myself and having a strong support though my close circle and through praying with my Christian pastor on a weekly /daily basis….
We’ve been impressed with the agency, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I work for The Agency- I specialize in problem solving – we are very proactive by finding off market deals for our clients, almost half of our deals we closed last year was off market and we work closely with developers to seek development deals and are able to put together creative deals for our clients.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I am an amazon audible junkie- I listed to all kinds but my favorites books so far are Atomic Habits, 5AM club, Cant Hurt Me, The Power of Habit and The Bible
