Community Highlights: Meet Kristine Bautista of The Wild Woman Alchemist

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristine Bautista

Hi Kristine, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, but my path has never followed convention. It has been a weaving of worlds, seemingly disconnected yet deeply intertwined, each thread weaving together into something far more intricate than I could have planned. My journey into healing didn’t begin with formal training or mentorship. It began with something older than education: an instinct, something innate. A knowing.

I was four years old when I performed my first healing. I heal with my hands. My dad had taken me to see a man who was scheduled for surgery. Without hesitation, I placed my hands on him. I wasn’t mimicking something I had seen; I wasn’t following instructions. It was instinctual, like breathing, like remembering. As if I had done it a thousand times before, in lifetimes stretching beyond memory. I recall that day like it was yesterday. The gentleman ended up not needing surgery.

But I didn’t grow up thinking I would be a healer. My life unfolded in a different direction; into the world of film and television, where I built a career as a hair stylist. It was a fast-paced, high-pressure industry, yet what fascinated me most wasn’t just the artistry, it was the people. I quickly realized my chair wasn’t just a place for hair transformations; it was a space where people felt safe to share their fears, their dreams, their grief. Without trying, I found myself holding space for deep emotional shifts. I quickly realized my job wasn’t just about aesthetics. I was offering them a kind of sanctuary in my chair. It was healing work, just in a different form.

Yet, there was always a quiet pull in the background, a whisper calling me toward something deeper. I followed that whisper into a lifelong study of service and healing in its many forms: Law, Journalism, Holistic Health, Neurobiology & Neuroscience, Herbalism, Energy Medicine, and Trauma-Sensitive Healing. With each modality, I wasn’t just gaining knowledge, I was remembering something ancient, something I had always known but never had language for. The more I learned, the more the pieces of my own existence clicked into place.

Eventually, I understood: healing wasn’t just something I did. It was who I was. And the moment I fully embraced that truth, everything shifted.

Today, I have a private practice as a Medical Intuitive, where I help people bridge the gap between science and spirit, between intellect and intuition. I guide others in unlocking their own inner knowing, reconnecting with their body’s natural healing intelligence, and navigating life with greater clarity, resilience, and ease. Alongside this, I work as an Herbalist, a Spiritual Counselor, and as a Teaching Assistant and an active MIM Tutor at the Academy of Intuition Medicine®, assisting others on their own healing journeys.

Looking back, my path makes perfect sense. I can see the invisible threads that wove it together. Nothing was random. Every step, from the film sets to the healing arts, from the alchemy of hairstyling to the alchemy of plants, from holding space for a client in my chair to holding space for transformation in my practice, was a preparation. Every experience was leading me here.

My work now is about integration: the physical and the energetic, the logical and the intuitive, the seen and the unseen. Healing, at its core, is about remembering wholeness. It’s about coming home to ourselves. And my role is to help others find their way back to that remembrance, to guide them back to themselves.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has been anything but smooth, but I’ve come to see obstacles not as barriers, but as initiations: thresholds I had to cross to become who I was meant to be. Every challenge carried a lesson, and every setback was simply a course correction in disguise.

One of my greatest challenges was learning to trust my own path. When you carry gifts that don’t fit neatly into a traditional career framework, like intuitive healing, it can feel like walking without a map. I spent years navigating industries that valued structure and predictability, all while holding an unshakable knowing that the unseen world was just as real, just as powerful, as the tangible one. The challenge wasn’t just in recognizing this truth, it was in standing confidently in it, even when the world around me wasn’t always ready for what I had to offer.

Working in film and television came with its own lessons. The industry thrives on high energy, long hours, and constant movement. I loved the creativity, the storytelling, the artistry. But I also felt the weight of its intensity. My sensitivity to energy meant I was constantly absorbing the emotions and stress of those around me, often without realizing it. The result? Burnout. I had to learn how to navigate that space differently; how to protect my energy, establish boundaries, and honor my own well-being while still showing up fully for others.

Another challenge was embracing my multidimensional nature. I’ve always moved between worlds: the artistic and the intuitive, the scientific and the mystical. For a long time, I thought I had to choose. That I had to be one thing or the other. It wasn’t until I fully embraced the integration of these seemingly opposite forces that everything began to align. The more I let go of the need to fit into a single box, the more I realized that my strength was in the weaving together of all these aspects of myself.

Then there was the leap of faith. Transitioning from an established career into building my healing practice. The shift from my place of comfort to the unknown was terrifying at times. There were moments of doubt, of wondering if I could truly make this work, of feeling the pressure to prove myself in a field that exists beyond conventional systems. But every challenge sharpened my skills, deepened my trust in my own abilities, and clarified my purpose.

The road wasn’t smooth, but growth rarely comes from ease. Experience has been my greatest teacher, shaping me in ways no shortcut ever could. Every challenge was an initiation, every struggle a refining fire. And in the end, the path I once questioned turned out to be the one leading me home.

As you know, we’re big fans of The Wild Woman Alchemist. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My work is rooted in the understanding that true healing happens when we integrate all aspects of ourselves: physical, emotional, mental, and energetic. As a Medical Intuitive, I help people uncover the deeper roots of imbalance, whether it’s stored trauma, chronic stress, or energetic misalignment, so they can step into a state of deep healing, self-trust, and empowerment. I don’t just address symptoms, I help people recognize the underlying patterns shaping their well-being and provide them with the tools to create lasting transformation.

What sets my practice apart is the way I bridge science and spirit, intuition and intellect. My multidimensional approach draws from a range of disciplines, weaving together my intuitive gifts with the various healing modalities I’m trained in to create personalized, deeply attuned experiences. Every session is tailored to the individual’s unique needs, offering a blend of energetic work, intuitive guidance, and practical support. I also craft custom herbal formulations and provide nutritional guidance designed to restore balance and enhance the body’s natural healing abilities.

The most rewarding part of my work is witnessing the profound transformations in the lives of those I serve. Many of my clients come to me after exhausting conventional approaches that haven’t fully addressed their needs. Through our work together, they find clarity, balance, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Beyond individual sessions, I offer Sound Healing experiences, Workshops, Past Life and Akashic Records Readings, Personalized Meditations, and custom-crafted herbal remedies to support emotional and energetic well-being. I also create intentional products, such as gemstone jewelry and healing tools, allowing people to carry their healing journey with them in their everyday lives.

At its essence, my work is rooted in love. Love for ourselves, for others, for our journeys, and for the infinite potential within us. True healing begins when we feel safe, seen, and supported, and that starts with cultivating deep self-compassion. Whether someone comes to me for guidance, energy work, or intuitive healing, my intention is to hold space with unconditional love, helping them reconnect with their inner wisdom and remember that they are already whole.

Healing isn’t something that happens to us, it’s something we awaken within ourselves. It’s a return to our true essence. And love is the force that makes it possible. It is both a privilege and an honor to walk alongside others on this path of remembrance and transformation.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I see risk taking as an invitation. An opportunity to step beyond comfort and into possibility. The biggest shifts in my life have come from saying yes to the unknown, trusting that even if I couldn’t see the outcome, the journey itself would shape me in ways I couldn’t yet imagine.

One of the biggest risks I took was to step back from the comfort of the film and television industry to build my own healing practice. I had spent years mastering my craft in an established, highly competitive field, but deep down, I knew my path was leading me somewhere else. Leaving behind that structure and security to step into something entirely my own was terrifying; but necessary. It required me to trust my intuition fully, to believe in my gifts, and to redefine success on my own terms.

Another risk was allowing myself to be seen in the fullness of who I am. When your work bridges intuition, energy medicine, and holistic healing, it doesn’t always fit neatly into conventional spaces. There was a time when I hesitated to fully claim my abilities, worried about skepticism or misunderstanding. But I realized that playing small wasn’t serving anyone; not me, and certainly not the people I was meant to help. So I took the risk of showing up as my whole self, unapologetically. And that’s when everything changed.

For me, risk isn’t about recklessness. It’s about trust. It’s about listening to that deeper knowing, even when logic says to play it safe. Every risk I’ve taken has led to greater expansion, clarity, and alignment.

The biggest risks I’ve taken, whether in my career, my personal life, or my healing journey, were about listening to that deeper knowing, the one that says, this is the way.
And if I’ve learned anything, it’s this: every time I’ve honored that knowing, I’ve found myself exactly where I was meant to be.
