Today we’d like to introduce you to iLan Azoulai.

Hi iLan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Everything that exists in our physical dimension, has a spiritual meaning, reason, and cause.
From the tiniest atom to the grandest galaxy, is imbued with a deeper significance that transcends our limited perception of reality.

I was born and raised in Israel to a conservative Moroccan Jewish family. While the main languages at home were Hebrew, Arabic and French, my mom was determined to learn English and to teach it to me at birth. Only at 2 years old I was exposed to Hebrew.

At 11 years old, I held my first guitar and taught myself how to play it. My passion for music led me to attend Israel’s first music college and releasing my first single after years of following my musical idol Matti Caspi-Israel’s most prolific composer and performer. From the midst of childhood traumas he served as a role model for truth and justice, love and kindness. Harmony.

I immigrated to the US from Israel in 1994. My mother’s insistence on teaching me English from birth paid off, and I had one less thing to worry about when adapting to my new life.

After experiencing the integration between the digital world and music, I found myself working in the multimedia and computer field while raising a family and continuing my education. My love for the digital world guided me to write and film my documentary, edit music videos and a Photographer.
My childhood dream came true 40 years later. I had the honor and the pleasure of filming and editing 3 of Matti Caspi’s official music videos that are seen all over the world. Editing the official music video of Barbra Streisand’s “One Day”, was the pinnacle of my visual storytelling career so far.

But my journey didn’t end there. I am currently in the post-production phase of a documentary that tells the story of people who rose above the most horrendous traumas in a world of sex trafficking, sexual abuse, and social exploitation. Working on this project was a turning point in my spiritual journey, a moment of awakening that shook me to my core
For the past 6 years, I’ve been hosting my Empowerment podcast “Abracadabra: Create What You Speak”. Where I featured many guests who share their gifts to the world, and whose careers took off after broadcast.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
When I come to a fork in the road, I use chopsticks. It’s a quirky way of showing that life can be unpredictable and that being adaptable can make all the difference. Besides, it keeps my hands clean. If the road is too easy, there is not much to be learned.

At 14, my family decided to become ultra-orthodox observants, which was a major change from our previously secular lifestyle. Suddenly, I couldn’t watch TV on the Sabbath, I had to pray several times a day, and I attended a religious school. My freedom was snatched from underneath my feet, and it was a difficult time of adjustment. I had to recede into myself and just survive.

In 1994, I immigrated to the US from Israel and settled in Kansas City. While working for a big company, I experienced racism from co-workers and my supervisor. The company did nothing to address the situation, and it left me feeling disheartened and cautious during my time there.

One of my biggest obstacles was my sense of focus. Life in Israel was a matter of survival and security, and it shaped my perception of life and even the meaning of life. Coming to the US was challenging, both financially and culturally, but it allowed me to release myself from a survival mentality and embrace a mindset of abundance. I learned to cultivate and nurture the skill of focus, which has served me well.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Spirituality doesn’t have to be overly solemn. We don’t have to endure suffering to find enlightenment.
When we observe children, our hearts open up. We yearn to be free like them, without any restrictions or preconceived notions that come with age and experience. In a sense, being a child and staying connected to our inner child is a spiritual experience, as it allows us to see the truth without any emotional baggage. Spirituality has been wrongly associated with religion, but they are two separate realms. Spirituality is about our soul’s purpose and our journey towards it.
As a Spiritual Coach and Sound Therapist, I help people rediscover their power, release emotional barriers, and manifest the life they desire using sound, frequencies, the voice, and the power of words. My group and one-on-one coaching and mentoring programs challenge people’s perceptions of themselves and their relationships. I integrate sound therapy with Kabbalistic meditations and my signature tea blend, HiTea™, which promotes heart opening, body presence, and clarity of mind.

Spiritual awakening and growth can come in many forms. For me, it began with the power of sound and energy healing. As a certified Sound Healing practitioner, Reiki Master, and NLP & CBT Practitioner, I have spent the past 12 years immersing myself in the teachings and practices of different spiritual modalities, ceremonies, and workshops. My passion for music and mysticism stems from my upbringing in Israel, where my family’s lineage includes Kabbalah, medicinal wise woman traditions, and music. Through my journey, I have discovered that true healing and transformation lie within our ability to connect with our inner selves and release emotional blocks. With the help of sound and energy healing, I strive to guide others on their path towards reclaiming their power and manifesting the life they desire.

In my workshops, I guide participants in discovering new ways to become more present using teachings and wisdom from plants, Kabbalah, and Sound Healing. Additionally, I offer a unique workshop called Divorce Sound Cleansing™ that aids in providing clarity, focus, and aligned energy for those who are separating from a toxic relationship or going through a divorce.
My passion for creating a more mindful and conscious world led me to develop HiTea™, a special blend of tea designed to promote a higher state of consciousness, soothe, heal, and relax. Each herb and plant in the blend is carefully selected for its unique medicinal properties to encourage a heart-opening experience, body presence, and activation of different chakras. The combination of sound, tea, and coaching modalities complement each other and support the empowerment process we undergo in reclaiming our power.

What makes you happy?
Whoever invented the combination of coffee and chocolate is a genius.

To me, happiness is all about achieving harmony and freedom. This involves finding a balance within myself, my relationships, and my creative passions while also experiencing inner peace. I love to play the guitar, write, take beach walks, and travel to new destinations. I am excited to continue creating, manifesting, and helping others on their journeys. Whenever I connect with my inner child, the possibilities feel infinite, and I am filled with a sense of wonder and curiosity.
