Community Highlights: Meet Frank Lee of Strike Physio Physical Therapy, Inc.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Frank Lee.

Hi Frank, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey began with martial arts, which has always been a deep part of my life and identity. The movements and demands in martial arts are unique — often difficult to explain or even understand unless you’ve experienced them yourself. That complexity taught me early on how much precision, control, and body awareness matter which became lessons that later shaped how I approach rehabilitation and performance.

I’m a Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Master in Taekwondo. I’ve seen how many people — athletes or not — end up stuck in the traditional, insurance-based system of rehab. Sessions are rushed, care is generalized, and treatment often stops once the pain goes away. Too often, it’s about checking boxes instead of restoring true function, performance, and confidence in movement. I wanted to change that.

That’s what led me to create Strike Physio Physical Therapy, a place built on the idea that everyone deserves high-quality, individualized care. At our clinic in Orange County, we take a performance-based approach to physical therapy that blends movement science, strength training, and clinical expertise. Whether you’re dealing with a long-term injury, training at a high level, or just want to move and feel better, our goal is to help you restore power, refine movement, and return to doing what you love with confidence and longevity.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. There have been plenty of challenges, from the long years of study to moments of stress, uncertainty, and self-doubt. Growth never comes without struggle, and there were times when it felt like I was being stretched in every direction.

But through all of it, there have always been people willing to guide and support me — mentors, friends, and others who showed up at just the right time. More than anything, my faith in Christ has kept me grounded. It’s reminded me that every challenge has a purpose, and that staying faithful through the process always leads to growth, clarity, and strength.

As you know, we’re big fans of Strike Physio Physical Therapy, Inc.. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
At Strike Physio, our mission is to help people move better, feel stronger, and live healthier lives. Physical therapy, to me, is more than just fixing an injury — it’s about restoring confidence in movement, improving overall wellness, and helping people take ownership of their health. That belief comes from a place of purpose — to serve others through care that’s rooted in compassion, integrity, and excellence.

We specialize in performance-based physical therapy, strength and conditioning, and movement optimization — blending rehabilitation with long-term wellness. Whether someone’s recovering from pain, training for a sport, or simply trying to live with more freedom and energy, our goal is to meet them where they are and guide them toward lasting results.

What sets Strike Physio apart is our holistic approach. Every plan is personalized, every session is hands-on, and every person is treated with the same attention and respect we’d want for ourselves. I’m most proud that our brand represents quality, purpose, and genuine care — empowering people to not just recover, but to thrive physically, mentally, and spiritually.

At the heart of it all, Strike Physio is about helping people restore power, refine movement, and build a foundation for lifelong wellness.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
For me, happiness isn’t something that always comes from big moments. Happiness is often found in the small things. A good conversation, a quiet morning, seeing someone move without pain; those are the moments that remind me of what really matters.

Happiness comes and goes, but joy is different. When I see things through Christ’s perspective, even the challenges and struggles have meaning. There’s beauty in the process, and peace in knowing that it’s all in God’s hands. That mindset keeps me grounded and thankful, no matter what season I’m in.
