Community Highlights: Meet Eloiza Tecson of LWI

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eloiza Tecson.

Hi Eloiza, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My career journey has always been about understanding people and building communities. I began my career in the sports performance sector, but a consistent theme emerged: the most successful organizations are those that put their people first – both their employees and their customers.

This led me to the health and wellness space, where the “people first” philosophy is not just a strategy, but the mission itself. The health and wellness space thrived best with relationship-driven, human-centric experiences.

I joined LWI because I truly believe in its mission to empower people to live healthier, longer lives. Over the past few months, I’ve spent a great deal of time out in the field, in our studios, listening to our clients and our incredible team members. That experience has been invaluable. It confirmed that our greatest strength is the deep, personal connection our team has with our clients.

My role now is to take that passion and our strong foundational mission, and scale it through strategic discipline and operational excellence. We’re not just selling a product; we’re co-creating a healthier future with every single member. My journey has always been about building a strong foundation of care, and I am here at LWI to do just that.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There’s a quote I love: “Smooth seas don’t make skillful sailors.” My journey has certainly had its share of challenges, but I wouldn’t trade them. Each one has been a lesson.

When you’re leading a transformation, you’re not just changing a business model; you’re changing a mindset. One of the biggest struggles has been helping people shift from a transactional way of thinking to a relationship-first approach. Historically, the success of a business was measured by sales numbers—by how much product a customer walked out with. With us, we’re asking our teams to measure success by how much trust they build, and how well they inspire long-term change.

That shift can be difficult, but it’s where the real growth happens. It requires patience, deep listening, and a genuine commitment to a new way of working. It’s about empowering people to understand that if we focus on the relationship and inspire lasting transformation, the business will thrive. And that’s exactly the journey we’re on.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about LWI?
LWI is on a mission to empower people to live healthier, longer lives. We’re a different kind of health and wellness company. We specialize in and are known for our unique, medically-supervised weight loss and wellness programs that deliver real, lasting results.

What sets us apart is our philosophy, which is based on a fundamental shift in mindset. At LWI, we are a people business that focuses on wellness memberships. We believe that if we lead with care, build a seamless wellness journey, and truly inspire lasting transformation, our business will thrive. Our operational and custom built C.A.R.E. model – Connect, Acknowledge, Reinforce, and Enhance – is the foundation for every interaction we have, whether it’s with our clients or our team members.

I’m most proud of the trust and community our brand has built over the years. Our team members in the field are our greatest asset. They are the ones who build deep, personal connections with our clients, and that is what ultimately drives results. We want our readers to know that LWI is not just a place to lose weight; it’s a place to find a partner for your entire wellness journey. We’re a community dedicated to helping you achieve not just your health goals, but a life of vitality and confidence.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
That’s a great question. I think luck is a bit of a misnomer; I prefer to think of it as the intersection of opportunity and preparation.

You can’t control the opportunities that come your way – that’s the “luck” part. But you can absolutely control how prepared you are to seize them. My journey has been a series of moments where I was prepared to embrace a new challenge or pivot in a different direction. For instance, my decision to move from boutique fitness to medically-guided wellness wasn’t an accident. It was the result of years of understanding what truly drives business success and what I was passionate about.

Similarly, every struggle or setback I’ve faced wasn’t “bad luck.” It was a valuable lesson. When a project failed or a strategy didn’t work as planned, it wasn’t a curse; it was an opportunity to learn, adapt, and become a more resilient leader. I believe that success is less about a lucky break and more about the discipline to show up, do the work, and be ready when the right opportunity appears.
