Hi Chris, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
In my twenties, I launched a pizza restaurant in North Carolina, gaining invaluable entrepreneurial experience. After several years, I returned home to Florida and began my journey in the home building industry. Starting with tract homes, I learned the business through hands-on repetition, developing strong organizational and time management skills, as well as a deep understanding of customer satisfaction. My career progressed into building semi-custom homes, followed by a brief period in commercial construction during the 2008 market crash. Seeking new opportunities, I relocated to Los Angeles to join a leading West LA builder as a Project Manager. I quickly advanced to Senior Project Manager, and in 2018, I made the decision to leave the company and establish my own firm.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being an entrepreneur in such a highly competitive industry—and in a city like this—has brought both smooth and challenging moments, which I suppose is to be expected. I feel very fortunate to have built strong relationships that have led to numerous opportunities and exciting new projects. Of course, the journey hasn’t been without its obstacles. I’ve faced challenges with shifting markets, supply chain issues, recruiting and retaining talent, the impact of a pandemic, and, occasionally, dealing with tough clients. Each experience has contributed to my growth and resilience in this field.

In business, what truly makes me happy is seeing a project run smoothly and ending with a satisfied client. These projects often take years, not just months, so maintaining strong relationships while delivering a stunning home is incredibly rewarding. Building a home is a dream for many people, including our clients. Helping bring that dream to life and seeing the client genuinely enjoy the entire process gives me great satisfaction—it just feels right.
In my personal life, happiness comes from good relationships and having fun with friends and family. I’m quite active and love to travel and spend time outdoors, whether it’s in the mountains or at the beach. It’s even better when my friends and family are with me—sharing those moments always makes me smile.
