Hi Carly, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started planning weddings and then realized I wanted florals to be a part of my options for my clients. We purchased Primary Petals off a colleague and over time have grown the business and extended the service to nationwide floral delivery!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
If anyone says business ownership is a smooth ride, they are lying to you. We have had some amazing peaks and valleys. We are currently just on the tail-end of recovering from COVID pandemic and that was literally the hardest year we have ever had. But we made it!!
We’ve been impressed with Primary Petals, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Primary Petals specializes in sending bouquets to all 50 states. We are set apart because there are not many competitors that can ship the flowers to arrive fresh and have them last for two weeks. We do that and we do it really well.
How do you define success?
Listen, success is relative to anyone you talk with. I would say for me, success is following a dream or an idea and seeing where it takes you. Listening and be a true form of yourself and the best self you can be is VERY important.
