Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashani Percy.
Hi Ashani, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am the Founder of Native Hospitality. I’m also a Business/Marketing Consultant, Licensed Realtor, Author, Former Wilhelmina Model/Actor, Event Organizer, Investor & Philanthropist.
I specialize in helping people change their financial situation primarily through business. Whether that’s helping them to create their own or invest in one that can work for them, like Real Estate. In terms of philanthropy, I have given back through my own initiatives but my most humbling work has been done through my fraternity Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., The Read Foundation, Red Cross, NAACP, and Local Community organizations.
I have helped to create hundreds of businesses nationwide through my company Native Hospitality since 2018. Our goal is simple; to help people worldwide leverage business to create financial freedom for themselves & family for generations to come. We’ve worked to help our clients navigate over 76 sub-industries to date & have a team of world-class experts & consultants that can bring any Dream or idea that you have to life. So how did we get here?
In January 2018, we initially launched as a professional service company helping people to create businesses or prepare for job opportunities. As we developed our passion and skill, we were able to transition to helping B2B & D2C Brands start & scale. We have helped our clients make over $20 million in combined revenue through strategic marketing campaigns & business consulting.
We provide Small & Mid Level Business consulting, 360 Marketing & Business Development Services. Meaning we’ll do everything from your paperwork/licensing to creating your brand identity, digital foundation, & even help you to solidify & design your commercial location. The sky is the limit at Native Hospitality. Our goal is to bridge the gap between talent and expression by helping those talented individuals express their dreams through business.
After being laid off on the day of my biggest promotion in 2018, I had decided that I wanted to figure out how to best help people. That’s when I decided to name my company Native Hospitality “which means taken care of those around us.” Our team focuses on helping aspiring & established entrepreneurs in all walks of life. We have always particularly loved working with brands that give back or empower the community in some way. We also give back to various community through our staple initiatives such as #NativeExpo, #WarOnColdCampaign, #WFHSummit, & The Self Love Series, to name a few. As well as our CYOB Workshop (Create Your Own Business) for Highschool Students
Fast forward over 4 1/2 years later, it has been humbling to see our clients featured in places like Business Insider, CNN, MTV, ABC, CBS, & more. Yet more importantly we can see how our clients impact those around them in positive ways.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has definitely been an exciting & challenging journey. After starting the company we focused on expansion faster than we should’ve. Which put us in a place where we had more opportunities than we were able to take advantage of. We were initially doing business in NY, DMV, LA, & Miami. However, things picked up after the first 6 months. We then received offers to work in 12 other states within that first year.
In order to handle a complex system and high demand. You need to not only hire key players but also effectively create key positions & systems that allow the company, clients, & projects to be executed efficiently. The thing is that within our first year we didn’t know what we needed because we were still defining ourselves as a company. As we made operational & hr adjustments we were better able to help a wider audience.
Then 2020 and the Covid-19 Pandemic happens. As a company that focuses on bringing communities together, it put a pause on all of our networking events & new client initiatives. We decided to do our first virtual workshop on April 3rd, 2020 titled the #WFHSummit which gave families information & resources to create their own means of income while the world was shut down.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Native Hospitality ?
Since our inception Native Hospitality has helped hundreds of businesses to not only start but to scale through different phases of business. Working through 11 sectors & 76 sub-industries we can proudly say that we’ve encountered a lot of aspects of business that have helped us to better help our clients.

We are known for helping people create unique brands & providing opportunities to communities. We empower people to change their financial situation through business and then help those businesses take the first steps to making an impact.
One of my most humbling moments was helping to locate a missing child in Houston in 2019. We were actually helping a client prepare to run for congressional office when their goddaughter went missing. Being about people and the human family, naturally we poured all of our resources together to help the family find answers during this troubling time. Just being able to provide help in a different timezone and pool resources and contacts to help the cause showed the growth of the company and gave us an insight to how important our work really is within the community.
One of our proudest moments is seeing the smile on our client’s faces after we’ve created their dream business.
What sets us apart from others is that we genuinely want to put people in a position to help themselves and others. Whether that’s your customers, employees, team or family. There is no limit to who we can help and how. We also connect all our clients to better leverage each other to create broader impacts through collaborations and partnerships.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Advice for those starting out? Don’t quit, don’t let anybody tell you that your dream is too big or too small. It might be too big for them, but there is a reason why you’ve had the experiences that have shaped you in life thus far. Discipline & devotion are the keys to success. This is because consistency & wisdom (knowing how/when to act) allow you to reach longevity. Nothing is ever perfect however obstacles are natural and will occur. You’re business is a growing entity, in your first year you will have successes and failures. Just remember that you’ve never done this before, it’s a learning experience. Make sure that you take advantage of opportunities when they come. And try to leave every client, partner, or potential associate in a better position than the one they came to you in.
