Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Carrillo.
Hi Anthony, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Growing up, I watched my dad work hard in construction, and from an early age I knew I wanted to follow a similar path. After gaining experience with a sheet metal company and then a roofing company, I realized my true dream was to own my own roofing business one day.
When my wife became pregnant with our first daughter, I was more motivated than ever to make that dream a reality. I wanted to give my family the opportunity for my wife to stay home and raise our daughter while I became the sole provider.
At 22 years old—just before our daughter was born—that dream came true. In July 2024, Carrillo Roofing LLC officially became licensed and accredited with the CSLB.
Now, after more than a year in business, Carrillo Roofing LLC continues to grow. I’m excited to see what the future holds and remain committed to providing quality roofing services built on hard work, integrity, and family values.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been a smooth ride. Starting a business is never easy, and having the savings to cover the initial costs—like insurance, equipment, and materials—was a big investment. Along the way, I’ve faced challenges such as hiring the right workers and managing multiple projects at once.
I’ve always been the kind of person who likes to do the work myself to ensure the quality meets my standards. But as Carrillo Roofing LLC has grown, I’ve learned the importance of delegating responsibility and trusting my team to uphold the same high level of craftsmanship and care. I’m fortunate to have a great crew—having the right people has made all the difference.
Running a business has also been a new experience for me. No one in my family or close circle had ever started their own company before, so I’ve had to learn the business side of things as I go. But I truly enjoy it. Even after a long day on the job site, sitting down to handle paperwork or computer work is something I look forward to—it’s all part of building something I’m proud of.

Carrillo Roofing LLC specializes in roofing and sheet metal work for both residential and commercial properties. We offer a wide variety of roofing options, including shingles, torch down, single-ply, metal roofing, and all types of tile.
