Community Highlights: Meet Alicia Stone of Ra Lotus Beauty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alicia Stone.

Hi Alicia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been formulating products since I was 11 years old. Growing up, my sister and I would have playdates with our godmother and on one special day, we made natural products: lip glosses, body lotions, soaps, scrubs, chapsticks, oils, and more. That day was life-changing because it introduced me to what would later become my passion and purpose — creating my own natural skincare and wellness brand, Ra Lotus Beauty.

From that moment on, I began formulating in my kitchen, diving into self-research, experimenting, and creating nonstop. That early curiosity eventually grew into my life’s work. I recently obtained my Natural Product Manufacturing Certificate from the American College of Healthcare Sciences, and I’m currently on the path to becoming an Ayurvedic Practitioner continuing to deepen my knowledge and connection to holistic beauty and wellness.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
This journey has been a rollercoaster, and it’s still just the beginning. One of my biggest challenges has been myself breaking negative thought patterns, habits, and cycles has taken real work. Even though I’m still working through some self-limitations, I’ve come such a long way. There was a time when I used to feel insecure about my craft. I didn’t always speak about Ra Lotus Beauty with confidence, but now I’m in full ahhh aligned, proud, and grounded in my purpose. Whenever I meet someone and they ask what I do, I tell them without hesitation.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business, Ra Lotus Beauty, is a natural skincare and wellness brand that enhances one’s beauty while elevating overall well-being. We create safe, intentional products that are free from additives, harsh chemicals, and synthetic fragrances.
Using beauty products is one thing but when they’re woven into wellness rituals and self-care routines, the experience goes far beyond the surface. I specialize in formulating and creating products and practices that nourish the body, mind, and soul. People often call me the “all-natural woman,” and I take pride in that. What sets me apart is my vision and intention I’m not here for surface-level beauty. I’m here to connect, to heal, and to nourish on a deeper, higher level.I’m proud of the message Ra Lotus Beauty brings into people’s lives raising awareness about what we put on our skin and into our bodies, and reminding us that self-care is sacred. What are your plans for the future?
The vision is to build a metaphysical healing spa not your typical spa, but a space immersed in deep healing, renewal, and spiritual alignment.
In the meantime, I’ll be hosting community workshops and private events perfect for occasions like Friendsgiving, Galentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, birthdays, date nights, and more. Each experience will be an intentional natural product making workshop, designed to nourish, connect, and awaken your inner creator.
