Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Wirsing.
Hi Victoria, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always been naturally organized and found that creating order was not only a stress reliever but also a way to bring more balance and efficiency into everyday life. After spending three years in the corporate world, I realized my true passion was helping others experience that same sense of calm and productivity in their own homes. With encouragement from my family, I took a leap of faith and launched my business, Square One Organizing.
As a first responder wife, mom of two, and active community member, I understand how busy life can get and how important it is for your home to work for you, not against you. My approach is to look at every project uniquely and create personalized systems that make spaces both beautiful and functional. Today, I’m grateful to guide clients through all of life’s transitions, whether they’re new homeowners, growing families, or empty nesters; helping them reclaim their space and peace of mind.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road. In the beginning, one of my biggest challenges was simply getting my name out there and building awareness for my business. Like many small business owners, I had to wear all the hats, marketing, networking, and client work, while still perfecting my systems and processes.
Later, after having my second child, the challenge shifted to finding a healthy work-life balance. As the business grew and the demand for organizing help increased, I found myself struggling with mom guilt, wanting to be fully present for my kids while also pursuing my passion for helping others find calm and order in their homes. It’s been a learning process, but over time I’ve learned to extend myself the same grace I encourage my clients to give themselves. Both my family and my business are passions of mine, and finding harmony between the two has been one of my biggest growth experiences.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
At Square One Organizing, I help individuals and families create spaces that are not only organized but also functional, beautiful, and sustainable for their lifestyle. I specialize in home organization, everything from kitchens and pantries to playrooms, closets, garages and full-home resets. My goal is to create systems that truly work for each client and make their day-to-day life easier and more enjoyable. In addition to residential spaces, I also work with businesses to streamline inventory and office systems, and I assist clients through major transitions such as moving or downsizing.
I’m probably best known for my personalized approach. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all organizing; every home and family is different, and I take the time to understand my clients’ routines, habits, and goals before creating a plan that fits them perfectly.
What I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me. Inviting someone into your home, especially into your clutter or chaos, takes vulnerability, and I don’t take that lightly. Seeing the transformation not just in their spaces, but in their mindset and confidence, is what makes this work so rewarding.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect with clients on a personal level and make the process feel approachable, not overwhelming. I bring empathy, real-life experience as a mom and first responder wife, and a genuine desire to help people reclaim peace in their homes and lives.
How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happiest is seeing balance and joy restored, both in my own life and in the lives of my clients. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about watching someone walk into their newly organized space, take a deep breath, and feel that sense of calm and relief. Knowing I’ve helped make their daily life a little easier truly fills me up.
On a personal level, my greatest happiness comes from my family. Spending time with my husband and our two boys, making memories together, and watching them grow reminds me why I do what I do. Helping others find balance allows me to find balance in my own life too, and that’s what keeps me grounded and grateful.
