Check Out Shayan Amiri’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shayan Amiri.

Hi Shayan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started playing the keyboard at age 5, and by age 9, I was playing in a local church. Between 11 and 17, I also learned how to play the guitar and drums.

At age 23 (2008), I decided to pursue music production as a full-time career. It’s been a challenging road, but I’m glad I stuck with it, and I’m grateful to everyone who has supported me in my incredible journey.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It’s been incredibly challenging.

Learning how to monetize my time, skills, taste, and experience took some work. Also, learning how to discuss my rates and set healthy standards with clients without being too aggressive.

Creating the music was the easy part. However, communication and managing my expectations and emotions were the most significant issues that took me a while to overcome.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a record producer, vocal producer, and songwriter specializing in pop, hip-hop, r&b, and electronic music. I’ve been in the music industry for 15 years. As a result, I have the network, experience, skills, and tools to quickly bring any artist’s music vision to life while maintaining a professional, fun, and creative environment.

To continuously improve in all aspects of my life and to be the best version of myself.
