Hi Savannah, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi, my name is Savannah Sky Martinez and I am a content creator for all sanrio merchandise and yelp elite. I started content creating a few years ago when I had changed jobs and decided to pursue what I enjoyed doing. I have collaborated with multiple cafes across California for the foodie community and have collaborated with multiple companies for sanrio merchandise. My most recent collaboration is from Screen Skinz for the new viral sanrio screen protectors. One of the main keys to content creating is to stay consistent and continue to uplift everyone else online trying to do the same thing. Building a solid community online is also a huge part of content creating. I plan to continue to grow my account and continue to share my experiences at Hello Kitty events as well as with the foodie community. I also plan to engage more with the travel community this year. Content creating has opened doors for me that I never thought it would. I can only imagine what has yet to come.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part, it’s fun and exciting but there are days where you just want to rot and not work on editing. There are even some days when going to an event is a lot due to having to be social at the event while trying to content create and get the content that I need for my events. Another struggle I have had while content creating is just the fact that some people will watch your account and never engage or give the support that is reciprocated to them. Even though it’s difficult sometimes I still love it and enjoy sharing my experiences with people on the internet.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a content creator mainly on instagram and tik tok. My videos vary from sanrio unboxings to cafe hopping to travel content. My goal recently has been to make content for other communities and engage in different content from what I normally do. I am proud of how far I have come with content creating. It first started out as just something fun that I liked to do once and a while but it has grown on me 100% and I would like to pursue full time eventually. I feel what sets me aside from others is my authenticity within my videos. I see a lot of the same types of videos from content creators so I try and put my own little twist on my content and make it as Me as possible.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson for me has been to get the results you want you have to put the time, effort and work into it. Staying consistent and it will happen for you.
