Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
A few years ago I decided to pursue my dream of acting, so I traveled to New York where I did an intensive acting course. I had a tough time there but something told me I really wanted to keep perusing acting.

I’ve moved from Brazil to Los Angeles in 2023 and studied at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. There I’ve got the pleasure to work with amazing teachers and learn from amazing artists that I consider friends.

I got to work in plays at the school and the Fringe Festival. I’ve been in student films from great schools and got to work behind the scenes as producer and casting.
Now I have a film that I’ve recently done going to the 3×5 Festival at LSTFI. It’s a comedy about how technology and dating in the modern days.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Yes, I’ve had struggles. Moving to a new country isn’t easy and also starting a new life with a different language. Even though grew up learning English, it’s different to every day life. I’m much funnier in Portuguese!

I’ve had to face “no’s” to opportunities that broke my heart and had moments that I’ve questioned myself/ my self worth.

But I do have amazing people around me that help me and make me feel like home. The “no’s” and the challenges are part of it but I’m motivated to keep trying
