Hi Natalia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself. 
Hello! My name is Natalya; I am a photographer and retoucher. I’ve been doing photography for over 4 years now. 

Photography is a part of my life, and doing it makes me feel truly happy. The happiness that I experience is transferred to the model and other participants in the shooting, which makes the process even more mesmerizing. 

A year ago, I moved to Los Angeles from St. Petersburg, Russia, and have already managed to conduct several photo shoots for American residents. 

I want to continue to develop in the fashion industry, photography for business, as well as artistic photography. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Of course, a creative profession involves many obstacles along the way. In order to be a successful photographer, it is not enough to shoot well, to master the camera, lighting and Photoshop perfectly. 

Many people choose a photographer based on his personal qualities. But if you do not confidently announce yourself to the world, then many people will not recognize you, and you will get lost among hundreds of other photographers. 

In our business, it is not enough to be a creative person; discipline, promotion, and systematic management of social networks are important. 

In the same way, when you are working on yourself, there is a temptation to stay at home alone with your computer. But this is a mistake, you need to meet and meet new people, go to events. This way, as many people as possible will know about you, and you can solve someone’s problem with your creativity. 

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a photographer. I specialize in portraits, content for business and blogs, photo retouching, fashion photography. 

At the moment, what I’m most proud of is that my English is just above basic, but I can do photo shoots with English-speaking people and the models, and I can achieve complete synchronization, which leads to amazing results. 

I believe that what sets me apart from other photographers is my approach to business, from preparation to delivery of finished material. 

I prepare for every shoot, even if it’s a reportage. I analyze, write down technical techniques for myself, thanks to which I can create unusual photographs. 

I set aside time every day for my development: watching lectures, studying famous photographers, considering the techniques of other photographers. This gives me the opportunity to diversify my creativity. 

Every shoot, I try to outdo myself. I talk a lot with the models so that they understand that they are in good hands, controlling their posing, I monitor the construction of each frame. 

Each photo shoot is an amazing adventure because there are always different people with different experiences, different locations, different tasks, different conditions, and different light.
