Check Out Micah Rogiers’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Micah Rogiers.

Micah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I got started back in 2014. I have always had a passion for creating. It’s just something about taking an idea and making it come to life visually. When I picked up my first camera, it just felt right. Much like most of us in this line of work, I was very much a novice and had a lot to learn. But with the thirst and determination I had, it wouldn’t take me long to get where I am at now. I studied and practiced A LOT. And over time, my work got better and better. It didn’t hurt that I made friends in this industry that were better than me. I learned a lot from them and am very thankful they took the time to teach me. I’m at a point now where I like my work but am always looking for ways to improve and make it better. Like all artists, I am my own worse critic.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely wasn’t a smooth road on this journey. Learning the basics wasn’t hard. It was all the advanced techniques that were challenging. My biggest obstacle was editing and I’m still trying to improve that skill currently.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a professional photographer and videographer. I don’t really think my work sets me apart from a lot of other people in this industry. But when you see my work, you know it’s me! I’m most proud of my progression in my skill set.
