Today we’d like to introduce you to Keren Mevorakh.
Hi Keren, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Every morning, I would wake up from a dream of having designed spaces I have visited in the past. I was captivated by spaces, weaving through them in my dreams with endless possibilities, conducting masterpieces of design, envious of my own creations. My design dreams were such an inspiration that I had to make them into reality. That is how my career began.
Born into a world where blueprints were bedtime stories and room layouts were etched into my mind, I was destined for the realm of design. With a developer for a father, every nook and cranny became a playground of possibilities, every blueprint a roadmap to adventure.
From those early days of blueprint memorization to my first project, my passion became my reality. With each project, whether it was crafting cozy homes or shaping office spaces, I danced with dimensions, harmonized with textures, and painted with palettes of my imagination.
But it was the realm of residential design that finally stole my heart. As I stepped into the role of Senior Architectural Designer at the family business, I found myself designing residential homes. From cozy cottages to lavish estates, I wove my dreams into reality, transforming spaces of style and comfort.
So here I am, ready to weave more magic into homes. With my passion and creativity, I continue to shape spaces, one blueprint at a time.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey of a design is never a smooth, straight path. It’s rather a winding road, full of twists and turns, challenges and triumphs. But while I always strived for greatness, every obstacle becomes an opportunity, every setback a chance to learn from.
With each new client and project, I delved into their vision and immersing myself in styles both familiar and foreign. It felt like a dance, breathing new life into timeless traditions, modernizing the classics, and reinventing the norms. I seized each challenge as an opportunity to add my own special vision, leaving behind a trail of inspiration.
And so, through the highs and lows, the twists and turns, I emerged not just as a designer but one ready to face whatever challenge the future may hold and boundless creativity.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I specialize in residential interior design, where I have honed my skills in crafting spaces that seamlessly blend comfort, style, and functionality. What sets me apart is my ability to truly understand and connect with my clients, delving deep into their needs, preferences, and aspirations to create personalized and transformative designs.
One thing I’m particularly proud of is my commitment to continuous learning and growth. In this ever-evolving field, I make it a priority to stay at the forefront of design trends, techniques, and technologies. This allows me to offer my clients not just timeless elegance but also innovative solutions that elevate their living spaces to new heights.
What truly sets me apart, however, is my unique approach to design. I believe that great design isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about storytelling as well as functionality. With each project, I strive to weave narratives that reflect the personalities and lifestyles of my clients, creating spaces that not only look beautiful but also feel deeply meaningful and comfortable.
We love surprises, fun facts, and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I have a secret passion for dance! Specifically, Flamenco.
Dance isn’t just a hobby for me; it’s a form of expression, a way to unleash my creativity and connect with the world around me in a whole new way. And while my love for design may take center stage in my professional life, dance will always hold a special place in my heart.
