Today we’d like to introduce you to Kasey Blaustein Greener.
Hi Kasey, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started Kasey Jones, Ink. without a formal plan—just a deep love for creativity, collaboration, and the power of play. I’m self-taught and built this company from the ground up, following my instincts and saying yes to the kind of work that felt meaningful and fun.
What began as a leap of faith has grown into a creative agency that partners with brands to bring art-powered experiences to life—from murals and live activations to curated press mailers and thoughtful branding campaigns.
With a background in marketing and branding for luxury lifestyle brands, I’ve always aimed to blend playful sophistication with intentional design. Whether I’m illustrating a one-of-a-kind mural or crafting a colorful unboxing moment, my goal is to create work that feels joyful, elevated, and deeply connected to the brand’s identity.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Kasey Jones, Ink. grew out of a mix of intuition, passion, and saying “yes” before I had all the answers. I didn’t follow a traditional path—I built my business by doing, figuring things out as I went, and letting creativity lead the way.
In the beginning, I was juggling everything—designing, illustrating, managing clients, handling logistics. It was exciting and chaotic, and there were plenty of late nights, curveballs, and growing pains. I’ve dealt with everything from fabricators ghosting me mid-project to last-minute shipping scrambles. And like most creatives, I’ve had to learn how to protect my energy and advocate for the value of the work I do.
But those challenges shaped how I work today. I’ve built a creative studio that partners with brands to bring art-powered moments to life—murals, live activations, custom packaging, and curated experiences that feel thoughtful and elevated. At the heart of everything I do is a belief in the magic that happens when play, storytelling, and good design come together.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart as a creative is my ability to fuse art, strategy, and storytelling into experiences that feel both joyful and deeply intentional. I specialize in creating art-powered brand moments—everything from hand-painted murals and live activations to custom packaging, curated PR mailers, and one-of-a-kind gifting experiences.
I’m known for making brands feel personal. Whether it’s a bespoke tarot deck for a wellness collab, a color-by-numbers mural at a corporate event, or a curated influencer mailer that doubles as a keepsake, I bring a sense of play, thoughtfulness, and polish to everything I create.
My background in marketing and branding gives me an edge—I’m always thinking about how a piece will land, how it tells a story, and how it invites people in. And while my work is often colorful and fun, there’s always a strategic thread running through it. I don’t just want things to look good—I want them to connect, to surprise, and to stick with people.
I think what really sets me apart is my instinct to say yes to big, imaginative ideas—and then bring them to life in a way that feels elevated, cohesive, and totally brand-aligned.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love most about Los Angeles is the energy. There’s this creative current running through the city that makes you feel like anything is possible. I love how eclectic it is—how you can spend the morning hiking in the canyon, the afternoon in a vintage bookshop, and the evening painting a mural or grabbing a mezcal cocktail somewhere with string lights and good people. It’s full of dreamers, doers, and the kind of weirdness that makes life interesting.
What I like least? Probably the traffic (obviously), but also how spread out everything is. Sometimes it feels like you need a full day just to get across town. But I guess that’s part of the magic too—hidden gems tucked away in every corner of the city.
