Today we’d like to introduce you to Karen Berberian
Hi Karen, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I got to where I am today with hard work and determination. During my college years I was interested in the medical field, but my passions took over and I decided to be my own boss, and what better way to turn a hobby into a career. Opening a business with no solid prior clientele, or skills to run a business is quite challenging to say the least. But the support of my family, friends, and now my clients are what drive me to grow my business into a full service beauty salon in the near future.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
For the most part opening my nail studio has been a fairly smooth road. Thanks to my husband who was able to build everything, and my family and friends helping with decor, paint, and organization, we were able to get it together in no time. As we approach our one year of being in business, small struggles have faded away and being able to have a solid clientele now has been very rewarding.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Licensed manicurist in the city of Pasadena. My speciality is in natural nails and Russian manicure techniques, focusing only on gel polish services. I’ve always had a passion for creativity and detail, and turned my passion for nail art into a career. I am most proud of my small nail studio and the personalized service I am able to offer to each and every client that walks through the door. What sets me apart from others is my commitment to personalized service and my high-quality products. Manicures are not a one size fits all, I take the time to understand each clients needs, make them feel pampered and leave with nails they absolutely love. I’m here to bring your nail dreams to life!
How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happy is my husband, and being able to travel the world with him, my amazing family and my friends, and my dog Duke. Oh, and of course my clients and being able to give them beautiful nails every day!
