Check Out Jessaca Rowe’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessaca Rowe

Hi Jessaca, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
In 2013, I had just graduated from college and was ready to take on the world with my degree in criminal justice. I applied for many jobs and went on countless interviews, only to be turned down. This sent a shockwave through my spirit. How was it possible that I had earned a degree but was unable to find employment? This experience plunged me into anxiety and depression. I felt hopeless and unworthy. I began experiencing chest pains and heart palpitations regularly, leading to numerous visits to the ER and frequent calls to work, calling out sick. However, I was determined to overcome this. I had come too far to quit my journey toward greatness.

In the following years, I surrounded myself with individuals who had gone through similar experiences. With their support, I tapped into my gifts, talents, and skills. I was discovering who I was meant to become. By using my voice to speak about my experience of overcoming anxiety and depression, I realized that writing a book about my journey could not only help me process my pain but also assist others.

In 2017, I published my first book, “A New Level Mindset.” In it, I shared my personal story along with tips and advice on cultivating a growth mindset and managing the pain of life’s challenges. The book was well received, and I went on to do book signing events and appear as a guest speaker on podcasts and in-person events.

Today, I am a mindset and wellness coach. I host a podcast called “Bags of Wellness”. I have also released a new eBook titled “You First: Making You a Priority.” Together, this book and podcast offer a complementary approach: one shifts your mindset to a higher level, while the other ensures that you prioritize self-care along the way. As a wellness and mindset coach, I want people to know that these books aren’t just theoretical—they provide actionable steps and real-world insights that can help anyone achieve sustainable personal transformation.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting my podcast and writing my books came with plenty of roadblocks and challenges. There were times when I wanted to quit; I thought my creativity was unnecessary, that no one wanted to see my work, and that it wouldn’t be beneficial. The mind can truly play tricks on you if you let it. It can make you believe that you shouldn’t pursue anything outside of just working a job. This is why it’s essential to stand firm in the choices you make regarding your creativity. If you have been given a vision, move forward with it. Establish a plan to help you navigate through obstacles and challenges.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am on a mission to help solopreneurs, content creators, and busy individuals reclaim their wellness, mindset, and balance—without feeling overwhelmed. As an author, speaker, and mindset and wellness coach, I provide realistic and actionable strategies that make self-care manageable, rather than just another item on the to-do list.

Through my books, coaching, and engaging social media content, I assist people in breaking free from burnout, shifting their mindset, and creating a life where wellness and success coexist. My approach combines empathy, humor, and straightforward communication, making personal growth feel inspiring, relatable, and achievable.

Whether I’m guiding solopreneurs to prioritize themselves without guilt, speaking on stage about overcoming wellness challenges, or crafting content that inspires action, my goal is to empower others to live with intention, balance, and purpose.

What does success mean to you?
Success means living by your principles and finding the time and energy to take care of yourself. It involves knowing when to take breaks or change direction instead of giving up. Success isn’t about pushing through at all costs, it’s about recognizing when you need rest or a new approach to continue moving forward.
