Today we’d like to introduce you to Fernanda Romero.
Hi Fernanda, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started as a singer in Mexico City then started modeling here when I was studying fashion design and merchandising. Then discovered acting by accident.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Being Latina and having sometimes my characteristics. Sometimes is a challenge.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am an actress, blogger and CEO of vita Parfum.
I am proud of going through the challenges and obstacles as a Latina in Hollywood ten years ago was super hard and not being able to have a voice.
I have home against stereotypes and trying to break them And teach the different audiences about that Latinos we come in different colors, shapes, etc. embracing my roots in this beautiful city has been key.
How do you define success?
For me, success does it mean when you obtain the biggest role or the biggest money check in your bank account success for me today, I value as a peace of mind a no stress life.
