Check Out Emre Coskun’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Emre Coskun

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started writing while studying theater and performing arts at the Conservatory. I realized the magic of writing when I realized that I started to communicate with my own soul through writing. “Writing is secretly being yourself.” Then I started to observe more deeply in order to write better, and as I observed better, I started to understand better, and as I understood better, I started to empathize better, and eventually writing became a form of undressing and purification for me.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest challenge for me, because I work on what individuals go through, what they dream of but cannot say, is to see that the language used is honest but what is thought is a lie.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I mostly work on TV projects. The biggest feature that distinguishes me from others in my work is that what I write is not imaginary but based on personal experiences.
The audience feels this realism because even though our social roles are different, our emotions are valid in every part of the world.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
Any producer or director who is interested in realism can contact me with an e-mail.
